The other members of Ash asked her to leave, wanting to return to being a 3-piece. Also partly because they were concerned she wasn't quite pulling her weight with the band once she got her solo career underway.

It is said that Tim is still in contact with her, and it is not out of the question that they may work together again in the future. I hope so, she's a hell of a talent and although Ash are still great, I miss her backing vocals, she really added to the band's sound.

I couldn't quite see the potential of this band at first. They sounded like copycats to me and they ripped off bands like Swervedriver. But once they found their own voice and language they amazed me by growing up really fast AND writing amazing songs in the proces. Really talented musicians, all of them.
