As of today he is the most unpopular president in modern history. Safe? A Zogby survey stated today that 8 out of 10 Arabs hate the US government. I think 4000 Americans would disagree about being kept safe, if they hadn't died in Iraq during the occupation. Here's something else to munch on.....the ONLY reason he's there is because in exchange for AIDS drugs the gov't has to agree not to extradite any of the administrations' former and current staff incl Cheney, Rumsfeld and perhaps Bush himself. Many other African nations were denied the AIDS drugs because they did not want conditions attached.

Bono is a bone head....he forgot that there were conditions attached to the AID specifically to deny extradition of the current administration to any future war crimes tribunal before the world court. Second; AIDS is a world problem...Bush denies funding to other African nations because they are signatory's of the world court agreeing to extradite all war criminals with no preclusion for the White house.
