So what happens if you don't sacrifice your creature? Also, does the game continue after this? I'm at this exact part as well, but I can't find a decent FAQ or walkthrough that actually answers my questions, and I don't want to continue on and make a wrong choice and be forced to do all of that again. :/
As far as I remember, the game will simply continue as is. I don't understand why you are worried about making a wrong choice. Just save the game in your temple and then try whatever you want over and over again exactly where you left off.

PLEASE HELP ME the only way the game saves is by autosaving whenever i save it in the temple it deletes it when i stop playing i am tired of dying on the 4th island and having to restart because of a save not coming through someone please help!!!
@RanMan171 i found out it delted the save right after leaving the temple i looked at a bunch of stuff and the diagnostics on the B&W launcher looked at the requirements and such just to see what and found out that the CPU speed min is 333 MHz and it says my computer has negative1482 MHz same with the memory needs a min of 64MB and says my comp. has negative 1280MB something need to be fixed with that?

I just wish they would make B&W3... Who care about Fabble... They have already made 3 of them and they are making a fourth. Why not try and make black and white for Xbox and ps3 or something like that... or at least try to. It just make me really mad how they haven't made a third one...
Probably because they think Fable 4 is a safe investment and will generate a lot of money since the first three titles sold so well and the fourth one will probably be very similar. While B&W sold a lot of copies, B&W2 did not receive similar success.
Maybe it is harder to predict how B&W3 will do on the market because it such an open-ended game with respect to the story and gameplay which means gamers may love it or hate it.
Maybe Peter Molyneux does not feel ready or in the mood for B&W3.
@RanMan171 Fable went downhill as soon Fable 2 came, Fable 3 is bugged and is the worst game in the fable series, Fable 2 had more sells and it was for xbox only, Fable 3 was also on PC but yet it didnt meet up to the previously game..
Fable series has failed, funny games but they aint fun to play again and again (except for Fable 1 ofc wich is perfect.)

@Killerofezzy Yeah, u have to install the patch before getting to that lever otherwise u cant get ur creature back. im sorry to say but its toolate now, youd have to go back to an earlier save or start over after downloading the patch
I installed B&W many times when I was younger, one time, there was this awesome bug that made me able to do anything outside my area of influence, It was crazy! Whenever I was short on anything i just stole from the other god's main village...
The funniest incident in any game I have ever done was in this title. I still laugh about it all these years later - I was training my pet to eat its own feces. The thing would get this look on it's face, and their stomach would be sick, man I laughed hard at that.

@Killerofezzy It's an Artefact. It'll impress villagers an awful lot more than a normal rock if you drop it in their village and it'll also provide belief over time. They can be very powerful tools, but they take time to make. You can get special Artefacts by getting your creature to chuck reward chests in a vortex, though (has to be the creature since you can't pick them up).
The best tactic against Nemesis curse is to take last vilage not destroy it,thats when bug happens :S.
My best tactic was to get first ape (learns fast through skirmish maps then go for leopard),Leopard is the fastest and best creature for fights wich u need for Nemesis :P.Anyway i didnt had problem with Nemesis curse...
This game was way ahead of its time - with the AI and gesture controls. I wish I stuck it out longer, but totally get Molyneux's vision with this game. I absolutely hammered Populous2 on Amiga!

@RanMan171 the creature curse? I'm afraid you can't to a thing about it if you got to Land 5 before installing patch 1.2... if you had installed it before, your creature would be cured.
Most epic ending scene in a game ever! Everything about this game was fantastic, the artwork, the gameplay and especially the soundtrack! I invested so much time to play it thorugh once, the last island was terribly difficult, but it was all worth it just to see this video. Do the creatures every really grow to the size the first mentor was? I've never had the patience to get past level 3 where it kidnaps our creature because it was so damn hard.
I loved this game (although i loved BaW2 also) its a shame it got such a bad reception because so many people didn't get it. I hate using that term but when people complain about micromanaging because they didn't realize you could let the people help themselves, there's no other way to say it. It's like GTA 4, enough people complain about it that people who didn't bother to play it assume it sucks.
My game had a bug that made Nemesis' curse never end even after all the wonders got destroyed. It made Land 5 nigh impossible to beat... so this is one of the very few games I have that I never ended up beating. It's really a shame.

If Nemesis curse made your creature really small so he can't grab anything... I cried when that happened to me :/ 1 way to get rid of the curse is to destroy the Tibetan wonder. While it stays down curse wont be in effect. But if he is as small as villagers... I would restart the game, growing him to the size in which he started is a murder... since creatures after age of 20 and beyond grow slower and slower...

The pirate copy from the internet skips the cd check that the real game has.

Well I finished the game but it didn't unlock anything... from what I remember. You just stay on land 5 and that's all. But you can find the sailors' ship there from the first island and the expansion of BW1 , BW Creature Isle beggins with the 3 sailors arriving on a new island and trying to convince people there that you are the only God. So there is a kind of ... continued story.
There's a glitch in the game. If you use the Food/Wood miracle and just right click over the Store house building not the food/wood spot you can get like 20K if you keep right clicking and not hold down. It helped satisfy their food/wood need for a long time.
Try the Wood Miracle right clicking on the Scaffolding making building. If you update the game I dunno if it would still work.
it took me almost 3 or 4 years... and everytime I restart the game , something "new" always shows up. Every new game in Black and White is different. And it takes a while to learn every little secret of the game.
In my case the curse was not lifted (frankly I didn't care because I was kinda fed up with the game after I finished it). But perhaps there is a patch out there on the net that fixes this issue. I didn't use any patch when I played the game.
Great game. Got to the last island but I was so irritated when nemesis turned my mountain sized hippy turtle into a miggity red dinosaur thing with the curse that I just loaded an earlier save and played that instead. Is the curse lifted abd your creature turned back after you finish the game?
ok nemesis was a freaky monster to kill all gods , but i think he was sad , maybe he got a good ally who get destroy by other god and he just want to take his revenge =(

I don't now if the villagers kept clapping their hands for that long after I finished the game because I immediately quit. But I sure like the way you handled those pesky villagers.
at the start of the final land Nemesis places a curse on your creature that makes him the opposite alignment to when u went to the land, he shrinks constantly and he becomes very weak. however the game has a glitch that means it cant be fixed and so the creature wil always have this glitch.

@Rindingal This is not supposed to happen and it has never happened to me. I'm sorry but I don't know of any particular fix for this.
Try searching the net for a specific solution to your problem.
If there isn't any try installing the latest patch. If that doesn't work try installing the game on another PC.
Maybe your version of the game is somehow "damaged".
If the game runs fine on the other PC try reinstalling it on your PC.
If it still doesn't work try getting a new copy.
Keep trying stuff.

The curse glitch can be fixed by updating the game. :) Your creature will go back to it's original size after u take over the villages.

@THISISMADNESS123 the computer will know that you have a downloaded copy of black and white and will not run it after the patch is installed.
The pirate copy from the internet skips the cd check that the real game has.
You should really go out and buy it.It is not expensive these days.I got it again recently for £2 although I originally paid £20 for it.My original is totally worn out :)
You can also pick it up dirt cheap on ebay. Buy it.it makes sense :)

Well I finished the game but it didn't unlock anything... from what I remember. You just stay on land 5 and that's all. But you can find the sailors' ship there from the first island and the expansion of BW1 , BW Creature Isle beggins with the 3 sailors arriving on a new island and trying to convince people there that you are the only God. So there is a kind of ... continued story.

What happens when you finish the game, do you unlock anything? Can you restart singleplayer?
I only reached land 5 before I stopped playing but I never got round to finishing it :(
This is such a great game, I would say that it's one of the best games out there.

There's a glitch in the game. If you use the Food/Wood miracle and just right click over the Store house building not the food/wood spot you can get like 20K if you keep right clicking and not hold down. It helped satisfy their food/wood need for a long time.
Try the Wood Miracle right clicking on the Scaffolding making building. If you update the game I dunno if it would still work.

it took me almost 3 or 4 years... and everytime I restart the game , something "new" always shows up. Every new game in Black and White is different. And it takes a while to learn every little secret of the game.

The first 4 are easy... Land 5 is a challenge because it's bigger and Nemesis is both very aggresive and defensive.

In my case the curse was not lifted (frankly I didn't care because I was kinda fed up with the game after I finished it). But perhaps there is a patch out there on the net that fixes this issue. I didn't use any patch when I played the game.

Great game. Got to the last island but I was so irritated when nemesis turned my mountain sized hippy turtle into a miggity red dinosaur thing with the curse that I just loaded an earlier save and played that instead. Is the curse lifted abd your creature turned back after you finish the game?

ok nemesis was a freaky monster to kill all gods , but i think he was sad , maybe he got a good ally who get destroy by other god and he just want to take his revenge =(

great vid... and what most ppl say that black and white 2 is more cool because of the graphics you are wrong. black and white was the best game of all black and whites and expansions the story line rocks and its really hard if you play it for the first time in black and white 2 is quite easier to beat the lands with an army or just buy miricales and wipe out the villages. im looking foward to see black and white 3 they say they are making it already but no pics or vids yet

What's with the ending where they all clap? They just kept clapping for me for around 40 minutes! Is that normal, because I thought that my computer was stuck in a loop :/
And after that they all went to work in my village. The ending pissed me off so much that I killed everyone

at the start of the final land Nemesis places a curse on your creature that makes him the opposite alignment to when u went to the land, he shrinks constantly and he becomes very weak. however the game has a glitch that means it cant be fixed and so the creature wil always have this glitch.

yeh theres a patch that has been released so as long as you install the patch before you go to that land your creature should be fine (supposedly)
