Anyone remember the " Bionic Christmas Carol " episiode ? Steve Austin had to Dress up as Santa Claus and Jump up high onto the Roof of an apartment Building with the santa Bag full of Presents for the kids. I never forgot seeing Santa Claus jump up onto the Roof of a Building.
I guess the producers of this show had no call to demand competent dramatic skills from the guest stars etc when Lee Majors himself couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.
This is one of my favorite episodes (The Lost Island) . Not just because of the beautiful scenery, but also because I laughed my ass off when the goofy-looking people spoke. They were hilarious. Jared Martin pulled off his performance of Torg perfectly.
Is everyone aware that the "Six Million Dollar Man" and "The Bionic Woman" are coming out on DVD in the U. S. and Canada this fall? The first season of "The Bionic Woman" will be released in stores on Oct. 19. The entire series of "The Six Million Dollar Man" will be released on Nov. 23. It will not be available in stores. You must order it from TimeLife. Go to 6mdm.com for more information.
muy bueno, pero para cuando sale en dvd todas las temporadas????cuantos años mas tenemos que esperar???a todos los fanaticos, hagamos cadenas para que editen de una vez por toda en castellano.
I first discovered it on the Sci-Fi channel when I was in third grade, back in 1997-98. It came on at 5:00 right after The Incredible Hulk. Sci-Fi was wonderful back then.
This was a great show and deserves to be run again here in America where it was filmed. The Sci Fi Channel ran both SMDM and The Bionic Woman a few years back before Universal dropped the ball and let the rights to Cyborg lapse. Cyborg was a novel that the SMDM was based on. The other company owns the underlying rights and Universal owns the shows (SMDM and the original Bionic Woman). It is also the reason why neither show has been released on DVD in the U.S.A. Totally bogus situation!
Yes, StevenVan you gotta love that sound when he jumps! I recreate it nearly everyday at work pretending to be bionic! LOL!!! My co-workers knows that I'm a TRUE bionic fan!!!!!
I think Lee Majors will always BE THE MAN!!! But, I have to say that this is one of the worst and most stupid episode from the entire series of the Six Million Dollar Man!! The last season of the show, wasn't really good at all. My favorite episodes from the show are:
Sure! The show especially in the very end was to showcase essentialy the bionics, i.e. the action, movement and sound ... it did just that ... I agree the story was a little far fetched, even if the whole "UFO and Alien" phenomenon was at its height in the late '70's!
@sanjeevksharma alot of things this show did was a little far fetched i mean like all the episode about robots like kill oscar ..the day of the robot .. return of the robot maker they had a lot of episodes like this witch was to much i do like the show but i think it should have been more like he fights crime he is bionic so u can't stop him or when he had to battle the probe twice ..things like that the robot thing was ok but i think they over did it with those episode
I agree the last season was the weakest. Worsts I remember are: "The Ghostly Teletype" - makes me want to scream; "Dark Side of the Moon" - utterly stupid because there is no way the laws of physics could allow it; "Hocus Pocus" - strained my credibility.
Still, "Death Probe" was one of my favourites. The sequel was reasonable, but it beat that idea to death, and thank goodness there weren't any more.
This is one of my favorite episodes (The Lost Island) . Not just because of the beautiful scenery, but also because I laughed my ass off when the goofy-looking people spoke. They were hilarious. Jared Martin pulled off his performance of Torg perfectly.
@sanjeevksharma Producer Fred Freiberger was probably the reason why the last season wasn't very good. He also produced the mediocre third season of Star Trek and the second season of Space: 1999, which was about half good and half bad.
i like this one

Real cheesy lines and make-up effects, no wonder while the series jumped the shark during the last season.

If you've ever wondered what happened to the annoying children in that English Lit book, "Lord of the Flies," this episode is your answer.
