Actually I do this to clean the bottom of my pool. The dirt collects in the middle and in one scoop work is so much easier for you.

@betterdropdatdonk It is easier. Once you kick up all of the dirt on the floor trying to use a vacuum, you won't be able to get it again until it settles. So if it is in the middle of the pool in one area, it is easier to get to.
