  • @He101A

Yes, but Richard defeated steppe tactics, as did Frederick of the HRE, Trajan, and countless other Leaders.

  • The Crusades, one of the most strung out series of bloody campaigns in the World. Europe and the Middle East, Catholicism and Islam battled it out in and around Jerusalem, mainly near Acre, Jaffa, and Antioch. Many heroes were made during the war, Richard the Lionhearted (England), Saladin (Egypt), Phillip Augustus (France), and much more.

  • I say that the slaughter of Hattin was a defeat only because of the kings foolisheness! Had he stayed in the city he would have had a chance to defend it! The army was strong with the best soldiers from all over Europe and Jerusalem was a mighty city! If he would had put his defence in the second ring of the city he could have avoided the catapult shoots! And when the enemy breached he would have an advantage of a strong castle! But instead he just marched out without water to the desert! Idiot.

  • Arabs FTW :)

  • dude famose 1191 where is it

  • if the crusades had more light infatry they might of won, if they have tons of heavy then they will get tired more and thirsty

  • True, people from France and Germannia going to the desert in full gear is stupid.. look at soldiers in Iraq, they still have to drink alot of water.. they should have rethought the whole Wearing 10000000 kilos of Armour..

  • @SirVaclav As long as they had water they would be fine. And if battles don't last too long, lest the heat might make their metal ware into a frying pan. But since they vastly outclassed the enemy with that very metal ware that made them nearly impervious to attacks compared to the enemies' cloth ware, battles never lasted too long anyway, even if they were always outnumbered. Indeed even outnumbered, the westerners only lost when they made gross tactical errors like straying too far from water.

  • @SirVaclav The crusading warriors used to be stupid, but their leaders: Smart. Just think about all that technology and foreign wares! Thats cash money! :3

  • @SirVaclav They only used to move long distances at night according to what I've read.

  • @Luci4her no, they just needed better leadership and less internal disagreement and self destructive moronic political interference. Their equipment was vastly superior to that of the Islamics.

  • @omuploii

the Islamics said that their arrows never pierced the Templar's armour, but of course Crusaders didn't usually have hundreds of thousands of Templar's availible. Maybe if these Muslims kept out of our land and stop stealing jobs, we wouldn't hate them.

    (ISLAM4UK is a great example.)

  • @WolfytheWolf5667 If you want them to stop steal their job maybe you could tell your goddamn leaders to stop bombing the infrastructure of middle east so they can work in their home instead of coming to europe as cheap laborers.

  • @TheBlindPowerslave

Unfortuantely, we do not have such power over our leaders.

Bloody sunday was when we realised our country is a dictatorship. Nothing more. Stupid Cameron.

  • The wedge formation is completely worthless.

  • yes it is in the game

  • you are completely worthless

  • Hold on, it's widely know that the wedge formation in game doesn't do anything.

  • it brakes enemy formations and makes them easier to kill because they cant defend as well.

ffs playing the tutorial would have been enough to know this.

  • I've been playing a while and I dont get that. As you can see at 3:28, there's a first contact with the tip of the wedge and that's it, then all the battalion will engage on a slow melee. It's a lot better to charge in line as there are more casualties at once.

  • @Istojataachatearme if I remember correctly I used to click behind enemy lines, so as to issue a move command, not an attack command. The units' AI makes them attack enemies in reach anyway, only this forces my cavalry to drive through the enemy lines instead of stopping upon first contact. Though it's been a long time I might be mistaking.

  • It is great you mean...

  • 5 stars!

    The best music and game!
