This seems like its was a crippling noreaster!!!! That's a classic 1980's model T8J-204 GMC RTS-II bus, and from the moan of her ole 6V-92TA Detroit {over 375hp} and massive Allison V730 transmission, she sounds as good as new!! However all the horsepwer and underhand-torque in the world ain't gonna give her traction in conditions like that....shame she shoulda had snow tires and chains!!! Great video-mentary, if I may!!

It's really bad out there. There's been bad snowstorms in the past, but I've never seen a storm's aftermath as bad as this. No bus service, cars stuck, and with so many streets nearby where I live still unplowed, this Winter Storm can hold the distinction of being a snowicane or storm of the century in my opinion.

@WosideNYC i've heard a story that someone actually set Bloomberg up with all this shit. The snow was cleaned EVERYWHERE but Brooklyn.... Unfortunately I had to drive that day and at ~ 6am when the snow just stopped I had to dig my own way through that snow... it was a hell... my 4x4 was a very little help in sometimes 6 FEET (!!!!!) of snow

At Jamaica Center Bus Terminal, not a single bus showed up... all bus service is either stopped or stuck because of the unplowed streets.

@TheEsotericDesi ,It really do make you wonder why NYCT try and operate em without snow tires and chains on!! Them classic Detroit Diesel bus engines is extremely high-powered, nevertheless though, the wheels needs grip in slush conditions like that!!
