Cool jacket I like the arm pocket, OMG You are HOT in pink, It's crazy my allergies have been crazy dust cats dogs there is so much polllen here in Ocala lots of big trees the pollen gets all over everything its like a green dust then rurns black on the fense I just sanded it all off & painted it & its coated with green dust again & the crap hanging from the trees but the weird thing is my allergies are not as bad these days I take nothing, coffee seems to help
Great news about the allergist! I need to find one. Does the epi-pen shoot into you without a needle (forced air injection) or a needle? I've had both (for migraines) and the needle hurts WAY LESS than the forced air one.
Allergies suck. I am mainly allergic to pollen (several trees, bushes & grasses), dust/dust mites and cats. I was on a treatment plan where I was supposed to get allergy shots for 3 years to get rid of my dust allergy, but I had to stop after 1 & 1/2 years even though it had gotten a lot better. Now I'm just waiting for it to get worse again. Hope you manage to get your allergies under control; all the best to you!
PS: I might get that gym outfit, because I too need a lot of moob support. ;)
I'm only allergic to one thing. Aren't I lucky? Once when I was younger, I faked being allergic to certain food so I didn't have to eat them. Now I love said foods
I love cats. I cat-sit for friends when asked. I don't spend more than about 72 hours with them b/c of my allergies. I too used to just pop an antihistamine, but eventually the sniffle-sneeze allergry developed into asthma. I'm not saying it will for you, but be aware of the possibility :(
Paul has allergies really bad when we are at my parents'! Now, I know how it looks, but he sincerely feels awful because of something at the house. This year we are going to figure out what he is allergic to, and see what we can do to alleviate the problem - however, it probably won't be with medication, since he does not like taking anything if he can help it. For me, I never had allergies, but think I have developed some as I have gotten older - cats maybe, fire/ashes/smoke maybe....
Who knows, you should be prepared in case you find a cashew on some dusty cat up a tree!
I have had grass pollen allergies since I was 18. When working in a sick building, I got dust, tree (early & late), weed allergies. I have even noticed the global warming effect on annual timing. The hypo-allergenic vacuum & bedding helps. The allergy shots helped a bit, but mostly they made it so I can use the laundry detergent ailse in the store. :\
I'm allergic to the basic pollen and dust but I think I am to my guinea pig too every time I pick her my neck gets itchy and I have to sneeze but hell to the no am I gonna get rid of her I love her to death lol but I have developed a tolerance
YAY book give away. I recetently went to the doctors myself for the first time in a long time it was kinda bitter sweet too knowing i have type 2 and pretty major depression. Kinda wishing i didnt see the doc lol
Did you know, people who are allergic to cats are actually allergic to their saliva, Jill? Hairless cat or a cat that doesn't lick to clean themselves, are perfect for people allergic to cats (saliva). As for myself being allergic, I'd be really surprised to find if was, never been tested for that, but don't really have any problems or odd things with food, things, etc.
do watch bexlife? she just had a give away on that book also.

You asked, so here's all the allergies I am currently aware of:
Spray on deoderant (gives me a nasty rash on my armpits) - I use roll-ons instead
Sunburn (ok, maybe not on the same scale, but coz I'm ginger)
Diet drinks (I'm allergic to the sugar replacement in them) - avoid diet versions of Pepsi etc.
Eczema (dry skin) - minimal use of soap and keep myself hydrated. I use Betnovate-N cream on the affected skin.
Hayfever & Asthma (they haven't been so bad in recent years)

How can you have the cats when you're allergic?

Some people have their cats regularly bathed at the vet and "dedandered" I guess it helps

It's good to have health insurance. Is it a benefit or is it personally provided? I don't know of any allergies that I have.

I hate to say it, but probably most of your issues are because of the cats.
