Many Jews died in Tsfat earthquake in 1837. Jlem has been majority jewish since 1870 - so, yes. There were many Jews there before 1900.

I do ask that people refrain from calling for more violence. This woman (presumably) does not like what her husband and his army is doing. If she approves, she has likely concluded that the people being killed are terrorists of some sort and a threat to peace, and mourns the collateral damage to unarmed civilians and children.
One could feel more sympathy if she acknowledged the evil that Hamas brought to the area.
