The rumors are I hear are that he will definitely be in along with The Rock seeing that Wrestlemania will be in Florida next year. He needs to be in the Hall of Fame aside from Hogan and the Warrior there was no bigger WWF/E star than the Macho Man in the 80's and early 90's.
@deadlime my concern would be that Vince would put Rock and Edge in and say " oh well do savage next year" but by than most of the fan pressure will be gone. plus Vince uses the HoF as a way to make more money, so i find it hard to believe that he would have a HoF with Rock, Edge, and Randy Savage all being inducted.

The only other place he could have worked where he could have made his same salary was WCW.

@Barosin1 - WWE put Pete Rose in the Hall of Fame to make their image look good. Since Baseball doesn't have the guts to do what is right and put him in theirs, I think WWE put him in theirs to show they had the guts to do what is right. It's the only thing I can rationalize. His few spot moments in WWE were somewhat memorable, but far from legendary.

Well Vince finally was ok with the Ultimate warrior. They wanted him in the HOF this year but there were money issues or something. Maybe Vince will give Savage a hof shot next year....hopefully

Mcmahon gave Warrior a second chance with the ultimate warrior dvd and warrior told him to shove it, so he burned that bridge. Now with Savage, i'm not really sure why he hates him. Maybe Savage gave Mcmahon his word he wouldnt go to wcw, but i'm not really sure.
He was the second champion the first was the original "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers. Bruno beat him by submission in 48 seconds or something with he bear hug. Bruno was the first to ever be a two-time champion and the longest reigning ever.
I agree that Randy should go into the HOF and also Ms. Elizabeth; I understand that WWE wants to induct Bruno but I respect why Bruno does not want induction--especially since he thinks the HOF was created initially in mind to exclude him. I am not sure what the problem is regarding Bob Backlund, another HOF caliber.

@RPenta The only women in WWE's Hall of Fame are Moolah, Mae Young, Sheri Martel, and I think The Rock's Grandmother Lia Maivia. The Jumping Bomb Angels don't belong there; they were in WWE for only a short bit and left. Eventually Wendi Richter will get in, as well as Trish Stratus. Even worse than the women is how the "midget" wrestlers have been excluded - no Sky Low Low, Haiti Kid, Little Beaver, or any others! Not even Doink (who was actually Little Beaver's son, BTW).
There's ALOT of speculation as to why Savage isn't inducted. Personally, I think it has to do with the video he did for his website that involved him insulting Triple H and saying something like, "He'd make a real woman out of Stephanie" deal. Notice that anyone in the Hall of Fame never bashed Vince's little baby girl - Savage didn't really bash her, but saying anything about her - I'd assume, has you black-balled. Such a shame, Savage is/was 1 of the best talents that came out of the WWF.
@WastedWilly i think it all goes back to 1994. steroid trial was over, hulk hogan was the star witness. theres heat w/ hogan & vince. hogans in wcw pulling talent over left & right. randy is unhappy the way hes being used, hates hogan & vince knows this....until hogan offers randy more cash than vince. savage jumps to wcw, slim jim went w/ savage, so vince lost out on that. the heat is over the walkout.

Well Chris Benoit will never be in the hall of fame because he murdered his wife and family. Macho man and Warrior ahve bad blood with Vince but Sting is supposed to go in next year it's rumored along with Stu and Owen Hart.
I don't think that Owen Hart will be in the HOF, because his family still has animosity with Vince McMahon because of what happened in Kansas City in 1999 with the Owen death.

Rather than have to explain to his kids why he was making out with a woman on TV, he chose to go up in the rafters. It was probably that or he would have been fired. The only other place he could have worked where he could have made his same salary was WCW.

Had Owen gone there, he would have been mired in the midcard, or in a pointless feud with someone like Hugh Morrus (aka "General Hugh G. @RPenta The only women in WWE's Hall of Fame are Moolah, Mae Young, Sheri Martel, and I think The Rock's Grandmother Lia Maivia. The Jumping Bomb Angels don't belong there; they were in WWE for only a short bit and left. Eventually Wendi Richter will get in, as well as Trish Stratus. Even worse than the women is how the "midget" wrestlers have been excluded - no Sky Low Low, Haiti Kid, Little Beaver, or any others! Not even Doink (who was actually Little Beaver's son, BTW).

There's ALOT of speculation as to why Savage isn't inducted. Personally, I think it has to do with the video he did for his website that involved him insulting Triple H and saying something like, "He'd make a real woman out of Stephanie" deal. Notice that anyone in the Hall of Fame never bashed Vince's little baby girl - Savage didn't really bash her, but saying anything about her - I'd assume, has you black-balled. Such a shame, Savage is/was 1 of the best talents that came out of the WWF.

Ultimate Warrior will never be in the HOF because he tried to screw the company he worked for twice (believe the first time was a last second hold out for more money, the second he either tried to sue or claim ownership + cash for "Ultimate Warrior" after changing his real name to "Warrior"). as long as vince is alive and runs WWE, Macho man is NOT going to the HOF. Maybe when shane takes over, then yeah. Sting will not go becuase he doesn't want to do anything with the WWE. But who knows maybe there saving randy savage and a lot of the other legends for next year. But Im thinking of starting a Facebook group called legends that should be in the Hall of Fame but aren't my only thing is I have to find information about the 2010 hall of fame.

It's fucked up he def should be in it, i remember watching him as a kid excellent wrestler, i just hope Vince stops acting like an ass and decides to let him in. Savage should have been in the HOF years ago.

I respect Jr on what he says. I mean Randy deserves it! He's been as big as a influential part as Hogan has...if not more. Fuck Hulk Hogan and his Skullet....What is a Skullet you ask? I dont see Sting being in the wwe hall of fame due to his opions of vince...as for the warrior dunno if he wants to be a part of it after vince had his dvd put together with many people making fun of him, and vince wont be in it cause most people will think he used his own power to be in it. good choice...ill give you that, but i dont see them happening

Well Chris Benoit will never be in the hall of fame because he murdered his wife and family. Macho man and Warrior ahve bad blood with Vince but Sting is supposed to go in next year it's rumored along with Stu and Owen Hart.

I don't think that Owen Hart will be in the HOF, because his family still has animosity with Vince McMahon because of what happened in Kansas City in 1999 with the Owen death.

Sting will go in the next year after he retires from TNA. It will come with a Sting DVD release. Warrior will not be in becuase they won't put him in. Vince will go in eventually.
