For those of you that are comparing Tim D to Tim R and George or JD, just remember Tim D is only in his 30's. Wait til he reaches late 40 or in his 50's. He will seriously be dropping the bottom out of it. I dont think he is trying to be any of those singers. Why try to be a copy cat when the original is so much better! Go hear them live, the sound quality on youtube doesnt give them justice!

you said that on another video...if you're going to be wrong you could at least get creative. NSYNC is a boy band with 5 guys who all pretty much sing on the same level and sound the same. These guys are a quartet, with 4 distinct parts; tenor, lead, baritone, and bass.

The group was founded by Ernie Hasse the former tenor of the Cathedrals and George Younce's son in-law. George mentored Tim and taught him a lot. Theres times when you can see and hear Georges influence. Tim is the best young bass singer in the industry.

Tim is one of the better young basses nowadays and is because he has mastered the Southern Gospel genre and the demands of the bass part. There are not many his age that can use the glottel fry as well as he uses. He has several other influences such as Tim Riley, London Paris, and Gene McDonald that are worth listening to.

i agree. i'm 14, and southern gospel music has had a huge effect on the bearing of life. in fact, God is leading me to sing in a group like this when i am an adult. i have not found anything more touching than this kind of music.
