When I replaced my screen the touch is off. When I touch the keys on the keyboard I hit the letter beneath it. I can't pull down the notification bar on the top. Is there anything that can be done to calibrate the screen?

@dcafnaetd A factory reset can sometimes resolve this issue. If that does not work, I would suggest speaking with the supplier of the screen directly for more troubleshooting info.

Be careful when prying the glass from the screen, its easy to break the screen before the glass comes off

@SwampRoOsTeR Heat is the best way to resolve this issue. If the adhesive is heated properly it should come out easily.

hello there, my fascinate has "pressure cracks" - would a replacement of the screen fix this? also.. when you remove the screen piece from the center piece, are you just carefully pushing it apart becus there is adhesive? do i have to put it back together with adhesive? thank you!!

@cherylHJkim Yes a replacement screen assembly will resolve issues caused by a pressure cracked LCD screen. And yes, the screen assembly is held to that "mid-housing" by adhesive. However, the adhesive can either be re-used without an issue, or I believe our current stock has the adhesive pre attached, making replacement even easier.

The Fascinate's glass touch screen digitizer (outer) and LCD screen (inner) are fused together, making an assembly replacement the easiest and safest way to replace the cracked screen. I dropped my phone and the screen has completely shattered--you can't see any light coming from it, although it still sounds as though it works. How can I tell if that's a replaceable problem? I don't want to pay 140 dollars for a screen to find out it won't work anyway.

@YTubeBandWagon There is no real way to tell if there are any other problems. Replacing the screen would be the best way to diagnose other issue if they arise.

umm well my fascinate has a problem. it fell in water for like three seconds and i took it out and dried it, it still worked but i couldnt use the touch screen it was unresponsive and so i took out the battery and the little rectangle or square that is supposed to be white is red and so i tried and put the battery back in and turned on my phone but then it the screen freezes and doesnt put the menu or the main page of the phone it gets stuck there and i cnt turn it off without taking out the
