Just finished this game! Got the english version at a really good price at a game shop.

I really enjoyed it, graphics are AMAZING, storyline had me intruiged and spooked, especially at the end. I highly recommend this, but to the more patient gamers, 'cause it's a game that doesn't really involve a lot of action, as you can tell. Loved it so much. And you can still continue expoloring after the credits roll, there'll still be a few side quests left.. I mean, you can never get enough, right? (:

I got the original one for the PS (got it used so no instruction book ouch!) and while the premise was good it was just too damn confusing. Didnt really have much of an internet to turn to since it was all dial up.

Though this game looks very nice and I own it but haven't played it (with no PS3) Endless Ocean: Blue World has this thing beat 10 times! Maybe not graphically but content and size wise with over a thousand things to find and achieve there's a lot more to explore and enjoy!  You can also save your photos to an SD Card which w=you can't do in this! Spend 30 bucks and pick p Endless Ocean: Blue World instead of paying over a hundred on ebay for this!

endless ocean was good it wasen't boring, hey cheak out endless ocean 2 there are baby animals and most of the animals are in groups like they are in the ocean, its so amaing cheak it out.

Looks great, definitely a rental. I'm personally more excited for Afrika. Though you won't die in either. Endless ocean was boring, the missions were tidious and dry. I like seeing cities and stone hendge under water. Did the ice caps melt in this games story? Looks cool.

If its anything like the first one (aquanauts holiday) its about underwater exploration, in the first one you could find some of the most amazing things, sunken structures, and other things I dont want to give away if you havent played it yet.

If I read things right, you play as a reporter who, to investigate a missing researcher/scientist, explores a coral region in the Dolphin #2, a mini submarine with an AI ("ANIMA") which the researcher developed. (Dolphin #1 disappeared with the scientist) Throughout the game, you'll unlock memos from him and learn to use his study of sonars to communicate with fish and power up the Dolphin 2. That's the basics of it.

Yes and No, I guess. The main controls are with the submarine, and the only real point and clicking would be to check out the many species in the game (and the occasional item). The whole story with the missing scientist is nice, but in the end it's just trip after trip of exploring.
