Plus Cinemax was sort of one of this first in the pay tv industry to have what their version of it was often called "Friday Night "Skin-a-Max" The then girlfriend some 20 years ago made sure we never missed it, had to be home with a drink in one hand and a joint in the other hand with eyes glued to that tv for like the two minutes that she would watch before she was all fucked up and ready to go...lol

They still are partners, both are owned by Time Warner.Hbo debuted in 72 and Cinemax in 79.

There was even a parody ratings bumper shown before some movies that day, something along the lines of "This movie has been rated 'NG'" followed by a screenful of funny comments - anyone have that?
