  • Comment removed

  • This is the one I remember seeing as a kid!

  • Good lord, I have a tape of this from the exact same night.

  • Good lord, I have a tape of this from the exact same night.

  • H-bee-O Feet-Ore Present-A-shun

  • Plus Cinemax was sort of one of this first in the pay tv industry to have what their version of it was often called "Friday Night "Skin-a-Max" The then girlfriend some 20 years ago made sure we never missed it, had to be home with a drink in one hand and a joint in the other hand with eyes glued to that tv for like the two minutes that she would watch before she was all fucked up and ready to go...lol

  • Did that guy say "Rits, tits, and marital blitz"?!

  • It almost sounds like it. I seem to hear "ribs, tips and martial bliss."

  • Or "riffs, tiffs and marital bliss".

  • funny

  • The Feature Presentation looks like it could've been a puzzle in Classic Concentration lol!

  • OMG...

  • Hold it. You mean to tell me HBO and CInemax (I did'nt even know it was on that long) were partners?!

  • They still are partners, both are owned by Time Warner.Hbo debuted in 72 and Cinemax in 79.

  • @PreviewSubscription Actually Cinemax debuted on August 1 1980

  • Cinemax was started by Hbo, as A total movie network, seeing as how Hbo also showed sports and specials.

  • @Nickfan001

Yeah, partners for as long as I could remember. The same thing for Showtime and The Movie Channel. Then Starz and Encore.

  • Sweded HBO in Space!

  • the money pit...funny ass movie!

  • Hey TheKid965 Can you upload that Retro HBO Parody Ratings Bumper Please?

  • Gotta love the way that they spun around the HBO sign with one hand. XD

  • I like the way they played the theme on the Kazoo.

  • I like the rebus. But I can hardly make out what's between the feet and the oar.

  • That's a Y

  • Of course. Feet + Y + Oar = feature. Clever idea.

  • I had A version of this with an NB rating,no boobs,no buns,no bother watching it.

  • April Fool's Day 1987. I remember this well.

There was even a parody ratings bumper shown before some movies that day, something along the lines of "This movie has been rated 'NG'" followed by a screenful of funny comments - anyone have that?

  • Funny stuff man. Funny stuff. Thanks for posting.

  • lol the look at the little lazer thats supose to be the light shooting from the hbo logo

  • It was interesting, to say the least....the actual model city as used in the original opening, messed up to look like a clear parody.

  • Plus, it was backed up by a kazoo, for humorous effect.

  • OK, those voices are so fucking creepy! 0_o

  • This never scared me at all.

  • OK then.

  • Holy crap! That was even scarier than the original!!!

  • This was April Fool's Day

  • Looks pretty spiffy to me. Best quality on the net, I should say. I nominate you for a YouTube honor! HOOT!

  • i seem to recall this being used on april fools day. great to see it again!

  • What was the occasion for this version?

  • April fools day.

  • Complete and better quality.

  • bahaha I never remember seeing this, maybe it was a one off. But its cool that HBO had the sense of humor to parody itself. :)
