Is the unit rechargeable? (can you use it without the AC adapter?) I am so glad that you did a review on this as I just found it in the catalog and was curious. My awesome portable logitech dock speakers just crapped out on me and I need some new portable speakers. I am specifically looking for non-docking speakers (otterbox case!)...sort of like mini laptop speakers but of awesome quality, good sound output, and around the $100 price. Have any suggestions? thanks for another awesome review!
No, it's not rechargeable, I has to be plugged in to work. If you're looking for cheap travel speakers, check out the Grandmax Tweakers, or the Chill PIlls
It seems like the plastics they used to make this speaker system are really cheap though. And it doesn't sound like the speakers are any better than a $10 system I can get from Marshalls.
can i plug an ipod classic where you put your iphone or it does`nt fit because of that thing behind??

Give me a break..........There is nothing rotating here.
And the speaker doesn't move....the Dock does....sorta.......does not rotate.
So don't call it a Rotating Speaker. Sharper Image just got dull.
