usually if you see a wild squirrel like that it was probably raised as a baby by someone, then released, or ran off. If a squirrel was raised by a person, they can be really fun and playful.

Do you need a wife because I think you could find one on youtube with how you are talking to that squirrel. You sound adorable! My husband talks to my squirrel in Spanish. "Darme mi zabito, Squirrelly. Como estas mi ardilla? Oh, que linda." She hates him, really, but for some reason, she backs her butt up in the cage so he can pet her, but she likes to try to trick him, turning around swiftly to try to bite him. The outdoor squirrels are nicer to him than the indoor squirrel!
