Laws like that vary by state. Do you live in NH? NH has no state law about the possession of a firearm in a school zone. Many other states do. I live in NH and carry a gun every day. 1) I have lived in the great state of NH all of my life.
2)Many of my close friends work as police in this state.
3)I open carry often. (A little less recently, the University I am attending has a gun free policy.)
4) I attend a tactical pistol defense class once a month.
I cannot enter the URL here, but google "Gun free schools act" to see the exact language of the law. I'm no expert, but anyone who carries a firearm should know the laws.
