  • now that is bad to the bone !

  • I've aspired for decades to play like you...thanks

  • thanks man! :)

  • hey sounds great!!

so do you practice the left hand over and over again first or how do aquire such ease at both hands??

  • yes because with boogie woogie, the left hand is your bass. If your left hand is out of rythm and doesnt have this solid beat you dont have the abbility to add the right hand so yes the left is important :) boogie on!

  • 5* awesome! THX!

  • thanks =) boogie on !!

  • my first comment on youtube. I must say, you're playing is amazing.

  • thanks and welcome to youtube!!

  • I could easily comment on every one of your videos, but I have to rate all I have watched so far AWESOME. Keep posting -thanks

  • thank you for your lovely comments and I hope you'll enjoy all my videos :D swing it!!

  • This is amazing

  • I found my god ;)

  • brillant,as abba would say thank-you for the music!!

  • Kippenvel!

  • Gaaaf ! Zit mee te wiebelen hier.

Dit wil ik ook kunnen... ik begin alleen wel even met les 1 dan ;)

  • Man! You rock those ivories! I've played for decades and don't even touch on your talent. I love this stuff, have spent the last hour just watching YOU and all I say is just keep doing it, keep at it, add the videos and enjoy. You deserve this attention! A pleasure.

  • Thank you for your comment. It's a pleasure to bring my music to the people! have fun watching my vid's! bye Eeco

  • It's really starting to amaze me how inventive you are at putting together right hand creativity. Such a fine touch, stable and clear and totally rockin' to the boogie from beginning to end. Real improvisation is going on in these pieces of your own making. The strength, speed, and certainty of the left hand do not come overnight. Great playing Eeco, more lessons please, for those of us who want to learn to improve, or those just beginning. Get your bass player and drummer for some gigs!

  • An amazing little gem Eeco

    Hope you keep surprising us

    Terry OZ

  • could you put this one also on your website, thanks ! :D

  • Hi freaky. from the uk, Your the tops man, Last heard playing like that, was in the forties.I am an ex piper , struggling with the piano,Piano was allways my first love, untill i went in the army, as a piper.

Your lessons have helped me a lot, especially the slow ones, i love boogie & swing. Trying to get my right hand now, playing with the left.

If you get time freaky, put some more lessons on.

    Your the tops man,

  • I will! keep on swinging :) bye Eeco

  • Thats one great playing freekie, Full rich & melodic. Keep polishing those keys man.

  • Your playing is tops. When's your CD coming out?

  • Dave brubeck is still playing great, Pinetop Perkins still rocks the ivories and he's 92, Jay McShann also still knows how to unlock those old jump numbers and he's around the same age as Brubeck :)

Eeco is able to play with the same acuracy and feel as someone that has been playing for 40/50 years, which is a gift in itself :)

    Top rating again :)

  • Great nice boogie. I heard it's possible reach 80 years old and still play boogie woogie fast, if had no deterioret desease. I'm starting learning classic piano and trying few boogie woogies, so I hope when even 80 have a nice thing to present well :-)

  • That's just great..just keep swinging and everything will be ok :)

  • Hello! You play very well the boogie. I have just one question : do you buy sheets of boogie music or do you play by hear?

  • I buy a lot of boogie woogie cd's but the most songs I learn by ear. Do you play the piano as well??

  • how long have u been playing?

  • Do you mean since when did I start to play the piano? I started when I was 7 with classic till my 16th and then changed to swing(boogie woogie), it was difficult to change but evetually it worked out :)

  • About 16 years, I started to play classic till my 16th then I changed to Boogie Woogie and later I also learend to play Jazz. Eeco

  • Hey Freaky,

Just a big "thank you" for the videos you're posting. I think I shared a piano with you during the 1st Dutch Boogie Woogie Festival's afterparty (2004, was it?) and I could already see you were gonna be big!

Hope to battle with you someday, although I've stopped playing after I studied the Honky Tonk Train Blues. Would love to pick it up again.

    Groetjes,

    André

  • You should make a CD/mp3's because you are seriously the best boogie woogie player I have seen/heard. Even out of all the famous boogie players after the trio of the 30's & 40's... You are up there with Axel Zwingenberger! :P If you got a bass/drum player you could then post some videos of you playing together. Now they would be some of the best music videos on YouTube!! ;)

  • BRAVO !!! You always surprise me. My feet can stop listening your piano.

  • You dont get a sore foot?? LOL :P

  • This is FANTASTIC!

I hope you decide to record these with better audio quality, and offer a CD or mp3s of your renditions.

    Thanks for making my day!

  • Thanx! I will consider to make a cd. Just need a good bass/drum player :D and then for me it's complete

  • That's what I like, right there. In the 40's if a song like that came on the radio, we would get up and dance, including mom and dad...lol.
