I'm totally late on this, but I helped make this show and well when we came up with the concept it was out of a love for Bill Cosby and his works. None of us really wanted to defame his name or slander it in anyway. We felt it was a fun show, depicting the love for a very talented comedian. I personally was sad at the response his lawyers gave us.  I really don't know if he got to see it or not. But just know this was made out of love.

The creator of the show didn't actually make episode 5. Episode 5 was by Eric Falconer, Chris Romano, and Chester Tam. ;)

On the legal rights tip, House of Cosbys is a parody show protected under the parody law. The creators were threatened by their servers shutting down if they weren't removed. It was a bullying tactic and could have been fought and won in court if the creators actually had more money for layers than Cosby.

The cease and desist claimed the creators were using Bills voice and likeness. The voices are all done by impressionists. The only thing really questionable is the Cosby posters on the walls.
