For all the ingenuity it would appear to take to outfit a ride with the all the lifting tricks, you'd think ONE out of the hundreds of these guys would figure out how to rig a 2.4ghz wireless system up so they don't have to have the goofy looking "umbilical" cord to control it...

if you run a high PSI and a large diameter valve that snaps really fast i would think you could get that result. the standard "air ride" systems are just a compressor and a small tank i think and they do pump slow like you said but with that pressure and valve the sky is the limit but whatever he did i like it lol
