You need eponentially more power to increase top speed - something like 4:1. That means to go 10% quicker you need 40% more power. The 5 bhp would liven the bike up, but it wouldn't really increase top speed by very much.

my WSS race bike reads 191 mph m8 but the data login system tells me it only does 167mph. Suzuki speedo's over read reguardless of how much the rider weights!
