However believing will not help you, you must believe and respond to God's love and repent and be born again and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit that Jesus sent to us when He ascended back to heaven. I wish this really proved something to me, but you being a nurse doesn't mean you fully understand the brain and what happened to you. Its not hard to imagine your brain sending out hordes of endorphins and chemicals in the last moments before death or in traumatic times. I believe it was an entirely brain-based phenomenon which she interpreted as spiritual. One reason for that is the fact that people tend to see whatever religious figure they happen to believe in. There are two possibilities. 1. All Gods and spiritual beings exist and the appropriate one (or group) comes to see you. 2. Everyone interprets the experience in the light of their beliefs. The latter makes more sense to me.

Read the 10 commandments and if you have broken even one of that, you will face God's judgement too but Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross of calvary that by repenting and putting our trust in Him, we will be saved and our sins forgiven. This means that anyone that never recieved Jesus and dies, will go straight to hell. Hell is a place that is absence from God but this can be avoided through Jesus. It is Hell without Jesus.

It is tragic that people like this are out there telling people not matter what happens they will be 'embraced by light' when the truth is... they won't. Hey, I lost my father 3 weeks ago, he was only 59 and died of a quick heart attack. I do hope what this lady says is really happened to her. Not like a dream no. And the brain was very close to death .. it was damaged and took many years to begin to recover. Parts of it died or went into very low functioning. The very bright light i think was the brain in shock and the dark image below was a fleeting attempt to grasp back at life.
deep sleep is completely different to the symbolism the mind throws up as it goes into shock .. i pulled back from the light i was wooshing into and had a decade of almost complete mental blackness, near coma exhaustion. Ten years being almost completely bedridden and unable to feel i was alive. That was a 'near brain death' experience. I was unable to dream or think symbolicc thoughts for a decade.
if i look at you and see a red mist it means i dont like you, not that my brain is malfunctioning. If i kill an animal and a black curtain falls down behind my eyes it means i am unable to witness what i'm doing .. if i see someone i love and the world seems bright and golden it is about meaning and not some brain defect.
people see strong symbolic visions which have life meaning.. its not just brain damage or dream .. there can be clear choices to make .. like a vision of two paths etc .. and it matters how you choose .. its neither a random dream nor 'seeing stars' .. thats all i'm saying!!

I experience near death every time I have an out of body experience. I experience going through the tunnel, but here is the kicker the tunnel leads me to a different dimension. I didn't used believe in this stuff, but now I can obe at will. I have learned so much and found out so many things. We are definitetly more than our physical body. I knew it was busy in the room, but I also knew that the busy ones didn't know about the angels.

oxygen deprivation can cause hallucinations, especially you are deprived of other sensory inputs. Any RN should definitely know that. Combine this with a belief in magical sky wizards or other mystical bullshit, and having heard about the "NDE's" of other people and bam, you get more of them.

If God would send a wonderful person from a third world country to hell just because they didn't follow Jesus that would not be a deity I'd want to worship.. The true way to "heaven" is through love!!! Any means of following love will get you there.

How many testimonies have we already had? And all these people are supposedly crazy or liars? I don't think so. God is fair and loving gives us many chances to do right and choose right. Yes. Read the 10 commandments and if you have broken even one of that, you will face God's judgement too but Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross of calvary that by repenting and putting our trust in Him, we will be saved and our sins forgiven. This means that anyone that never recieved Jesus and dies, will go straight to hell. Hell is a place that is absence from God but this can be avoided through Jesus. It is Hell without Jesus.

It is appointed for man to die once and then Judgement. This life is nothing but a vapor, but the real life begins when you die and then whereever you go, it will be for eternity. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world so that those that repent and receive Him as their Lord, will not face God's wrath. Not like a dream no. And the brain was very close to death .. it was damaged and took many years to begin to recover. Parts of it died or went into very low functioning. The very bright light i think was the brain in shock and the dark image below was a fleeting attempt to grasp back at life.

deep sleep is completely different to the symbolism the mind throws up as it goes into shock .. i pulled back from the light i was wooshing into and had a decade of almost complete mental blackness, near coma exhaustion. Ten years being almost completely bedridden and unable to feel i was alive. That was a 'near brain death' experience. I was unable to dream or think symbolicc thoughts for a decade.

I experience near death every time I have an out of body experience. I experience going through the tunnel, but here is the kicker the tunnel leads me to a different dimension. I didn't used believe in this stuff, but now I can obe at will. I have learned so much and found out so many things. We are definitetly more than our physical body. I'm not religious because that is made by man to regulate control. I do know what ever you believe over there will manifest instantly heaven or hell.

When I gave birth to my third daughter by c section I was kind of hovering between life and death. I think I was in 'shock'. There was a nun holding my hand and I kept wondering if she knew that she was not alone because surrounding me were angels, as I lay there with my eyes closed. I didn't see them...I FELT THEM. I knew it was busy in the room, but I also knew that the busy ones didn't know about the angels.

bentleysw--there are many people who don't see this light in their NDE's...they have horrible hell-like experiences. There is accountablity for our actions. We have to seek righteousness to reap a Heavenly eternity.

Here is a more detailed translation of my previous reply specially for you: God created the bible because he called upon all those people who wrote it. He revealed to those people what to write. This is why He created it. There was something special about those people he chose this is why the bible has never disappeared like other books. Its Holy. Do research before replying

I know the bible was created by man i'm not ignorant. But it was written by man only because their hands were used to write. But God wrote it because he showed and told all of the people who wrote it what to write.
