Two problems here. One is that Anberlin writes incredibly complex arrangements (complex for this style) that are difficult to properly re-produce live. Second, being a musician myself & having played in bands, I can tell you that their sound check for this performance was probably rushed and short and not what the band really needs and so it's very much seat-of-your-pants. I know for a fact the guitarist on our right can sing well. Chances are he couldn't hear himself well.

i saw them on the BLUPRINTS tour before they got all hyped off their next few albums, and they were good back then, still sing flat live (obviously on this video too).

whoever put slipknot and sevendust in the same grouping... slipknot plays metal, something this band wishes they were (even tho its mostly crying). sevendust sucks BAWLS but you call me when you can play a whole slipknot song on guitar lol... i just put in anberlin cds and learn them all the first play-through..

I have been to 2 Anberlin concerts (and will be going to #3 in this summer) they are a great live band and have put on my favorite and my second favorite concerts. This was the worst preformance I've ever seen them do (sorry Stephen Christian). Please don't look at this preformance as what to expect from them live. Go see them this summer on the Warped Tour!!!
