I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters. Out of coriousity my friends and I went out to the site and it was very clear that something happened there. There was also a very clear effort to hide something by the way that the surrounding trees were cut down. It was very easy upon looking at the area that something of some sort had landed there. It is a disgrace that the integrity of these Officers and Airmen was thrown into the dirt in the manner they were.

Anyone interested in this and the government's CLEAR agenda to keep UFO info under strict secrecy (2 presidents and several congressmen have been unable to get the Roswell files released!!) should watch the series on youtube by Dr. Charles MacArthur called "Return of the Nephilim". The gent with the cockney accent may as well simply call these people liars as the explanation(s) he offers ignore, almost entirely, the detailed accounts of these officers. Space debris - and everything else he mentions - cannot account for radiation, the bizarre radar returns, nor 99% of what these people reported/documented.  In 1994 myself and some co-workers had a similar, odd experience. I'm amazed at how some folks will grasp at anything to discredit reputable people.

I was beamed out of my bed in 1981 at lightening speed onto a UFO. I was up there for only a couple of moments, saw the earth below via a monitor, told something (by someone on my left and out of my view), then shot back down to my bed!

Halt got made full colonel not long afterwards. If he wasted so much time and resources tracking down a lighthouse light that was there before and there after, he would have been royally impaled, then smacked about a bit more for fun, before being unceremoniously discharged. Defenders of a country, indeed of a nuclear weapons base, do not get rewarded for gross incompetence, and most certainly not the United States of America, to whom warfare means just about everything in this world.

What I don't understand about the lighthouse explanation, or the re-entry of space debris, is how that can explain the radar sightings mentioned in the beginning of the video. How could a falling object, or a stationary lighthouse suddenly soar up to 90,000 feet? And only after a jet was sent to identify the lights? Maybe there were two different events going on, but I don't see a lighthouse or soviet space debris spoofing a radar as being a good explanation.

something like this happened in rhoscolyn, anglesey ,north wales in the 80's. a ship landed in a field next to a primary school while all the children an the supervisors were out on break . they observed the ship and creatures exiting it. when they went back in to class the teachers got all the kids to draw what they'de seen an every picture was the same.

i have to say since this came to light i have been very very pissed off about this incident as i was myself in woodbridge at the time i was in borstal which was only a mile or so away and i didnt see or hear a thing there was no talk of this at all in the borstal .. and trust me i would give my testicals for the chance to see a ufo like most people ..

Yes, I too recorded it on VHS and subsequently transfered it to both MPEG & DVD formats. It really brought this whole amazing UFO incident into public awareness. There was also a "follow-up" program hosted my Micheal Aspel with an audience discussion, which actually interview Charles Halt...very fascinating

Great film, especially as I live in Woodbridge about a mile from MOD Woodbridge & 4 miles from Bentwaters. I routinely go for walks in the forest, infact there's a UFO Walk you can go on. You have to drive past the base perimeter fence to get there but there's nothing strange about the forest except for a huge wooden owl in the middle that the kids play on. I think Top Gear now use the base for stunt driving.

Tactical nuclear weapons were on base ready to deploy if USSR tanks to storm Western Europe. Those lights were searching for somethings on December 26 all over the base, especially over nuclear storage underground facility. December 25 that when the craft landed in the forest, maybe sampling soils or whatevers. Trees and branches where the craft landed were visible broken, and pushed downward, the next day Brits authority ordered to cut the area of those trees and took it away.

They also detected the thermal nuclear enegy that were detonated between U.S. and U.S.S.R. during the cold war.
