Early 2008 Mac Pro? Did you get it with the wireless Mighty Mouse because I just got the tethered one hence I never got that battery/mouse prompt. Powering up my own MP2008 was a pretty personally euphoric experience although my first Mac was a 2007 MBP, the Mac Pro or PowerMac G5 was the ultimate object of my obsession when they first debut.

Awesome machine; expensive but awesome.

@PrAggro how fast it is, how stable it is, what type of programs it can run, compatibility, being user friendly, unique features, alot of stuff should be taken into account. after getting my mac i find that every thing works much faster and is very easy to use and i now think anyone who wants to get a computer should get a mac unless they want to play games because they cant do that well.

normally i'd agree- but apple's quality control has been piss poor lately. i've had to return 3 macbok pro's in a row right out of the box, each with a different serious proble (bad hard disk, faulty backlit keyboard, etc). if they don't step up in that department, then they are simply overcharging and providing nothing but a ripoff. and i say this as a mac fan (usually)

If anyone reading this plans on buying a Mac Pro soon, wait. The new nehalem architecture based Xeons are coming out soon, and if the desktop Core i7 (also nehalem based) are any indication, the new mac pro will blow this one out of the water.
