Hey, These girls have got it goin on. They can sing and play. I play keyboards and guitar and do some vocals so I can appreciate a good song....I just wish there were more like them now. What happened to great guitar rock. I love Nickleback and the such but they are so few and far between. As popular as Nickleback is it looks like more bands would see it and start cranking out more music. My two boys love Vixen. They're 3 and 7...like father/like son. ROCK ON rockergirl83!!!
Hahaha, I'm a woman, but I totally agree. They lost it, they're not the same wirthout Janet and Roxy. Especially without Janet - no other singer by Vixen can't fill her shoes!
My girlfriend and I saw Vixen at an LA club when they were still paying their dues on the LA/Hollywood club scene. We were the only women in the audience, and we felt uncomfortable being surrounded by all those hormonal driven males. We had front row seats, and Janet Gardner kept looking at us.
I guess she noticed how uncomfortable we looked. When the show ended, she yelled to us, "don't worry girls, I'll get you outta here alive"! She took us backstage to meet the band. I've liked her ever since then.
Lucky! I wish I could've met the awesome girls of Vixen! Janet Gardner is my all time favorite singer...I'm only 18 and she's better than anyone today! I'm stuck in the wrong decade haha

I saw Vixen at a small club in Hickory North Carolina in 1989 and they rocked like they were in Wembley Stadium. One of the best shows I ever saw.
