I live near holloway been going there all my life wouldn't go anywhere yet, first remembered it in the early 70's when I was a kid had the ABC cinema, that sign you could see for miles, the cars those days had chrome bumpers, There was no morrisons ( Safeways). A whole back street had to be knocked down, opposite nags head pub where the carpet place used to be holloway arcade I bought my girlfriend a goldfish frm the pet shop it was 1978 and I was still in school.
@chemicalJK I like Morrison's for groceries and the Odeon for movies. The tube closes for big games at the Arsenal stadium. Hospital is not far by bus in case of emergency. Anyone know if they still have Monday night karaoke at The Holloway?
@no1getzs0da oh great! i used to live in unite's flats oposite clissold park in islington! but this year im going to stay at wedgwood court which is really really close to my uni! walking distance which is very important! which uni do u go to?

Aww it's not that bad! I have lived in Holloway Road for 5 years now and it really isn't that bad. good bars, close to shops and we are a flat with 2 HOT chicks! not bad at all i'd say :D and hey, The Big Red !! How many ppl can say they have a rock bar right on their door step!
See the close attention the friendly Police pay to 1 shoplifter from Marks and Sparks, thats the Holloway love. (Check closely and you see the WPC squeeze the other nice rozzer's arse!!)And one exploded newspaper, thats confetti to celebrate the ne'er do wells arrest, and the charming couple sing the glory of his arrest. Ahh my hood, we loves it.
I used to live in Holloway myself! It's an exciting, vibrant and dangerous place to live, and plenty of cafes and shops etc - apart from that, trouble was ALWAYS just around the corner... literally!!
well up until now i am dissapointed....the people are introvert, the food SUCKS and the weather SUCKS even more! anyone here wanna hang out? :P
