Awesome video! My suggestion in regards to the reverse arm: When the locomotive is in reverse and the driver is at either 0 or 180 degrees, the lifting link should be completely vertical. It appears your reverse arm should be moved back a hair. When the radius crank is all the way in the backward position you notice there is a lift on rear radius extension rod. Not a bad thing but in some cases that could allow more steam to the rear of the cylinder in comparison to the front. Beautiful engine!
One would think so. But remember that it is not under load. The only work it is doing is against it's own compression. Try pulling a few cars. Then it probably won't do so well at 30. Thanks for the comment. -- BG
