I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but things are going to get real BAD for Bianca & Reese the week of Feb. 9th & 16th. Mostly the week of the 16th. That's probably why Syrfsup67 made that comment. It really will turn out to be a slap in the face of lesbian love, marriage, committment, family, etc. Groundbreaking story turned into Disaster and a mockery. It was all for ratings during sweeps and I can only hope Eden & Tamara are just as disappointed with the end result. It's quite sad )-:

No it's not quite the storyline we hoped for, but at least AMC are showing that we exist!? We have to keep in mind that this is a SOAP... there is always going to be the drama... maybe I'm just nieve but I am still hoping that TPTB are going to turn it all around and give TB&ER the happy ending they deserve!! *fingers crossed*
I too am hoping that the story line takes a turn for the better. My take is that by portraying Reese's lesbianism as a choice or a whim, that in a sense AMC is saying that lesbians don't really exist...or could make a different choice if the right situation were to arise. And it is a soap...so drama is expected...but I can think of a million other ways to break them up besides making Reese straight. Hey, lets turn Zach gay...nah...no one would believe a straight person turning gay...
I don't think they will break up in the end... I think things will get bad... then they will get better!! :D And I don't think they are 'turning Reese straight', I just think they are making it a 'thing' that she can then use as life experience - creating this path that will guide her to where she should be - AKA WITH BINKS!! :P
This is just what I'm hoping, and I'm sure a lot of other people are too! We need this S/L to end well... and I think TPTB know that deep down. I hope they do us proud!
That would be AWESOME if Reese stays a lesbian. I have been hoping that I am just projecting...the four women I've dated left me for men :-( So as soon as this storyline developed I was relieved and excited...finally intelligent, attractive women who were in a relationship. It kind of gave me a bit of hope...until the Reese and Zach thing...a punch to the gut. So here's hoping you're right!!! A little optimism would do me good...so thanks for sharing your positive outlook.

I think it will all be OK, and if not, well then hopefully the next lot of writers will do a better job for Bianca!?
