  • I love their singing, but I hate the beat.

  • I LOVE Brownstone!!! They should STILL be a group today. They have the best harmonies. I didnt know they remade this song. I still love the O.G. but this is a beautiful version..

  • LOVE THIS ALBUM FROM # 1 TIL THE END ITS GREAT,,,,LOVE LOVE LOVE

  • I like Syleena's version better... more Soulful~ sorry1

  • @hairlovers5873 I agree. That bounce makes you move involuntarily lol.

  • Just amazing! OMG Brownstone is the truth!

  • brownstone did they thang... i love KINA on this!1

  • These ladies are hot!

  • trying my best to play my cards right

  • Brownstone did a great job on this remake of 'one way & alicia myers' classic! They put that Brownstone edge on it, "foot in it". Wish they would get back together!!!!

  • Vicki Harvey - Play Your Cards Right (1989)... top notch!!

  • love this song its so melodic

  • i like alicia myers version original song better and syleena johnson too.

  • @richlove404 alicia myers meaning One Way. She was still with One Way when she did the song.

  • @richlove404

    Latanya Version is beautiful

  • sorry, besides A Myers... Brownstone's Kina kills any other version. PERIOD!! -the end

  • i love this song

  • love this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wonder if this group ever going to come back.

  • @oscar0312 Hope so!

  • This is a very good remake of a little known 70s classic. Love it!

  • @Keith8562 Alicia Myers released it in 1981, not the 70s

  • My favorite version is from Syleena Johsnon...I like them all though cause this is a great song regardless...I think Syleena has a great mix of vocals and music

  • my favorite version of the song

  • mine too

  • @PhilaBul Tupac's was pretty brilliant too if you like that kind of thing

  • @PhilaBul Couldn't agree with u more

  • Nice redition. I, miss this group.

  • First Alicia (solo), then One Way, Syleena, then Brownstone. They're all good though.

  • Alicia Myers did this "FIRST"!!!!!! Have you heard her version????

  • Hi MyTonyk --Alicia Myers did not do this first--this came out in the early 1980's.

  • actually techincally she did. She was part of the group that created this song in the 80's the one you are referrring to. The group was called One Way. She was a lead singer along with Al Hudson. This group's other big hit (Which Al Hudson sung lead on ) was Cutie Pie

  • This verison is good also

  • I too love this version of this song...Its still not as good as the original. You guy's might have noticed one of the members of Brownstone as Aunt Vera in Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns (the play version)

  • Nice cover.

  • what happen to brownstone?

  • Destiny's Child...there are a lot of great singers who get overshadowed...Syleena Johnson, Truth Hurts...don't get the recognition they deserve.

  • This is the best remake i've heard by far, Lots of soul! I agree the original is better, but this is hot. I got both versionson my ipod. lol.

  • syleena johnson has the best version of if you play your cards right. i havent heard anybody screw it up yet though, but her's is the best

  • Her version is okay. I still believe Brownstone did the best cover.

  • Nice remake

  • I never knew Brownstone did a remake of this song, I must say they did a very good job..but then again they are a wonderful female group..one of the best IMO.

  • @truepureblue : Yeah, know what ya mean! Always wished they made another, if final, 3rd record. Maybe entitled "At the Top" or "The Apex"; wishful thinking I guess...

  • i just listened to both this and syleena's version, and i have to say brownstone did a better job, i've heard the original as well, but i like this one better. hopefully this will be my 4th brownstone song on my ipod

  • i like syleena johnson version better.

  • I like both versions, but This is the original, Nothing beats the original

  • ALICIA MYERS is the original version check it out

  • I just found that out, I never knew this was a cover, thanks for the info, I stand corrected

  • I love Syleena's version as well!!!! Her's is a lot more soulful!!!!

  • I really like this remake of the original. They sounded superb!!

  • They are the original ones to sing it, This came out in 97

  • They are not the originals to sing this. This song was made by Alicia Meyers in '81.

  • I already know this,

  • I usually don't like when people do re-makes on CLASSIC old school songs but they nailed this one!

  • Nice.

  • Dang Kina sound alot like Alicia

  • i like dis song

  • A original cover song from One Way Alicia Myers group that she was a member from the late seventies thorugh the early eighties that is my song right here a classic rhythm and blues song.

  • nice remake of a classic. it takes skill not to mess up a classic song.

  • They re-did Alicia Myers and Oneway? No way!

I like Brownstone but this song is way too classic, sorry!

  • Even thought his is a remake, I still think they did a fabulous job! They were a good trio.

  • Wow I didn't know they released this song!!

  • They held their own on this one!

  • this is for my friend lashawn kd smooth gon get it right

  • This is a very beautiful song, originally sung by Alicia Myers of the group 'One Way' back in the late 70s/early 80s (she is most famous for her song about finding a good man "I want to thank you.") Ive loved the original version of this song since back in the day. Ive been a fan of Brownstone since I was in college, and I can hear that these ladies still sound great! Im gonna look for this CD.
