Tbh I hate the fact that this is set in the 90's and that it is no longer focused on desmond. Assassin's Creed 2 gave me chills the first time I played it; the way the music intertwined with the story; the serene qualities of the landscape mixed in with a caliginous social-enviornment. The scenes set in Imperial Russia look really good... but the descendant (whatever his name is) is an absolute atrosity; I refuse to read this for fear of ruining my view of the Assassins Creed Series. -_-

But back to AC, they would be best of sticking to Renaissance Europe (especially France and Spain) with the possibility of Imperialist Russia (which would still have very crude firearms like those in AC Brotherhood at best) :)
Assassins creed got me extremely interested in history and it taught me so much about it. Im not saying i get my historical facts from assassins creed but it has inspired me to read up all about the time periods in which the games and comics take place and study more about the facts in those time frames :)

@tigergirl9452 I'm pretty sure they are drawing on a Cintiq 21 UX. It's a pen tablet created by Wacom. I have one of those, they are a little difficult to use, but it is easy to get used to.
A game, novel, comic, or anything wouldn't be good in the US civil war. With all do respect to Americans, the civil war isn't that important when it comes to world history. It's important in US history, but not World History. It is true that the US is significant, but it wasn't that significant at that time and therefore the civil war wasn't that significant.
The American Civil War wasn't as important as the Crusades, Renaissance, Russian Revolution, or the age of the Ottoman Empire.
i wouldn't mind seeing a comic book, made into a game, after (altair, enzo, and desmond) revelations hits gold. Seeing a more modern take on the universe,
A game during the US Civil War wouldn't be the best (there isn't a lot of free running potential) the Revolutionary time period in the US would have a similar problem. But just because the US does not have much potential as a setting for Assassin's Creed doesn't mean that the United States isn't historically significant, it isn't the only country that matters, but it is still significant. All countries have had shameful moments, please think before you comment. And remember: AC is fiction!
I'm really pleased with this concept. To me if Assassins Creed got too heavily involved with American History( as in the United States of America) then it would become too much like the Da Vinci Code. I find this great that they are focusing more on world history and with this new Russian storyline it should be amazing. I'm hoping to see more of this in the near future. Still can't wait for the next installment of the Assassins Creed series.

Northern-Europe, Africa, Asia... I think Ubisoft should try to expand their horizon by giving more historical places and characters and over all more interactivety. I thought it sucked when Monteriggioni was taken from us and we had to make do with one city to "Rome" around in. More locations, more charcters, more interactivety.

I just don't like the ideea of a modern times assassin's creed, and what's with all these comments bout where the game should take place???, i dosen't matter where the action is happening as long as it's er...awesome.But it would be cool if the next ass creed would take place in Romania, just sayin' plus at the end credits there are quite a lot of romanians involved into making this game.Especially one called Marius Pasarica(which means Pussy Marius)

I think the next game/comic should take place during modern times as Desmond only and a lot more free-running. Also can we get a little more traveling opportunities? Just sticking to one country does not seem fair. Oh and MORE ASSASSIN APPRENTICES!!!! They were so awesome and I hated when they died!

- Revolutionary / Napoleonic France (18th/19th century)
- Victorian England (19th century)
In my opinion, the best areas/timelines for Assassin's Creed 3.
And maybe 1920's-1930's USA / WWII Europe / Cold War for AC4 :P

Northern-Europe, Africa, Asia... I think Ubisoft should try to expand their horizon by giving more historical places and characters and over all more interactivety. I thought it sucked when Monteriggioni was taken from us and we had to make do with one city to "Rome" around in. More locations, more charcters, more interactivety.
