  • YES!

  • Thank you for sharing, my friend.

    Blessings,

  • Lol I dont feel emotions

  • Kill them with kindness!! <333 lol n_n

  • Thank you! I can now tell my parents that the reason im not kind is biological!

  • anyway, as a nurse, we have seen days when we were trusted enough to get our patients well. We knew what it took, showing kindness, respect, caring, love, and hands on. When it became more important to make money, the patients suffered, in turn the business suffered, all nurses were suffering, and now they can look back and see, thank God somebody is doing that!! I applaud you, and appreciate you!!

  • In the late 80's the medical field, hospitals, nursing homes, went from patient focused care to money making is the bottom line. This changed everything, in order to do our jobs the way management wanted, the patients sacrificed their we

  • WOW! Yes, as many major hospitals and renowned doctors continue to report on faster recovery of patients treated with more kindness and compassion, and detecting an increase in the production of pheromone by those patients, this is a scientific fact. Power to these scientists that are researching focused on what works better!! With deep appreciation for this posting!

  • (ki+nd) = ne x ss

  • Evolution created Religion ?

  • Nuture vs Nature indeed.

  • I completely agree, education is absolutely a monopoly with an agenda. Always has and always will be. However kindness is not a selfish act, it may satisfy your happiness as an individual but its blatantly obvious to me that kindness would be hardwired into our genetics as a means of insuring the survival of our species.

  • Why am I not surprised Youtube spotlighted this?

  • From reading the comments I have determined that:

    1. A lot of people already know this is bullshit.

    2. A lot of people hate each other despite not knowing each other.

    3. A lot of people have tried being nice, and only found themselves fucked over.

  • @TheFaustianMan Your comment > This video

  • @TheFaustianMan Life sucks - get used to it.

  • reminds me of that movie donnie darko. and it makes me smile :)

  • all this kindness is really making me miss my twin sister..

  • @4u250ut Ha Ha. Maybe in the next few thousand years. =P

  • 2:41 if something is teachable than it is learnable lol

  • it doesn't take a scientist to know what kindness is

  • Kinda ironic, the comments, are by people who, acknowledge the value of kindness by saying "KINDNESS FEELS GOOD" then they follow this up with "DUH!!! OF COURSE YOU STUPID FREAKIN MORONS" So while they recognize the VALUE of kindness, they refuse to show any in their own comments!!!!

    KNOWLEDGE is knowing......"kindness feels good"

WISDOM is....USING.....that knowledge to ACTUALLY BE KIND!!!

Perhaps a scientific study of the subject, could help illustrate that very difference!!!

  • Humans and scientists alike argue that we are all unique, but flaky sociologists want to say we are all the same and that we all show emotion in the same way. Kindness is not a science and should never be used in the same sentence. Put it this way: a scientist can do the same experiment 1000 times. However, if one time or a few times that experiment yields different results, then the previous results are questionable and likely considered null and void.

  • "Would You Kindly?"

  • @Grambino2012 What?

  • Apparently you need to be a scientist to determine that kindness is good for you!

  • Boooorrrriiiinnnnggggg

  • Happy World Kindness Day!!!! :)

  • @Zer0cropped your delusional and a good example of why religion needs to die.

  • EYEDEA WOULD LOVE THIS

  • i like this video... :-)

  • Lie to me has real science. Dood.

  • penis?

  • Yep. Definitely a berkeley professor.

  • :)

  • if you're not at least as compassionate as me you're a horrible person.

  • @NinkasiDelight Thank you for keeping the standard so low (:

  • @wobbledobbleish well, I'm the most compassionate person ever.

  • i like it

  • they are missing one essential point, THE HUMAN SOUL....

  • If only the world's terrorists & diplomacy leaders could practice this.

  • Look at the top two comments. Back to mine. Back to the top two. Now back to mine. Sadly, they aren't mine. But if you stopped handing out thumbs up so freely, they could LOOK like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? Watching in awe as this comment gains thumbs up. look down, now back up. I have it, the ability to gain thumbs up by posting something so simple-minded. Look again, people copying and pasting my comment to other videos.

    Anything is possible on YouTube

  • who disliked this? a "proof" of mans kindness, no i dont like that=?

  • isnt that just physcology?

  • @dotzlerpsn Psychology is a science.

  • @JustCommentOkay like i dont know that, being just a "kindness" scientist is kind of stupid. they should just call it flat out psychology

  • @JustCommentOkay How a psychologist treats patients is not scientific at all.

  • @machine7elves I think you misunderstood. Psychology itself is a science. It's the way we think and behave. How we treat other people is no scientific. And there are many different kinds of psychology. When psychologists treat patients, they should be unbiased and tried to connect past experiences with their problems. That part is scientific.

  • @JustCommentOkay You are wrong. Psychology is based on mostly subjective analysis and qualitative results, where as neurology is based more on technical empiricism using the scientific method...something which psychology does very little of. Past experiences are completely improbable and have no absolutist basis to be factual and empirical in nature...unless you believe in destiny which in itself is completely unscientific. By no means is this scientific...I'm sorry but you are very wrong.

  • random-act-so-fkin-d-ness. trololol

  • good guy greg.

  • if only people actually acted out of kindess

  • sympathy is our strongest insinct? THAT IS A DAMN LIE

  • THANK YOU SCIENTISTS, AND ISLAM IS ALWAYS ADVANCED THAN SCIENCE ISLAM TEACHES KINDNESS AND GOOD MORALITY, AND I HOPE YOU WILL DISCOVER ALSO THAT WHEN HUMAN HEART IS GOOD (FINE)HIS WHOLE BODY IS GOOD(FINE)

    WORK FOR HUMANITY :)

  • lie to me?

  • I was observing expression of people in the video: they looked happy :-)

  • @brama1969 LMAO, I hear PETA is hiring for their case against Seaworld you should Apply...

  • @brama1969 when you are sitting here typing a comment later on as a response to mine, recall that these letters, are squiggles that mean something to us, and talking or the act of speaking are just grunts and other sounds we use to communicate but outside of human language they mean nothing to anybody...people care you don't have to hate on everybody. and i find it funny you curse so much because we associate it with bad meaning but really it is just a sound we make.

  • I clicked on this video because the thumbnail looked like Charlie Sheen..

  • Did he die?!

  • Sadly, kindness seems to be all but dead in the world today....

  • @Everyone

This thread seems to disprove this research...

(not seriously, but the people screaming over politics an religion are being rude to say the least)

  • this video is coool.hating is uncoool.

  • Psych. The most accurate science ever

  • I wish a lot more people would understand this..

  • Spread the love :)

  • @RapSensationDream You know, you taking the time doing that and say "10. Get a Life" kind of imply's you yourself has no life.

  • @Mritsonlyaname just because you add Jesus in the end, won't make people thumbs up you.

  • Love is more powerful than anything. I'm just putting it into a weapon.

  • This is all well and good but I can't believe that Kindness and Compassion has become a Science. Just proves how far things have gone if we need to be told by scientists that kindness makes people and you happy :/

Also, the more comfortable we are in life (i.e the modern person that has no problems with getting food and shelter etc), the more self-centered we become and thus we now have a World Kindness Day to remind us to be human. How sad.

  • @gaymuraki Amen, it IS a sad day when that happens, because money and wealth, fame and material things have so taken us away that we have forgotten or at least A LOT of us worldwide at least here in America have forgotten about Humanity. This however seems to just explain SCIENTIFICALLY how kindness is apart of us and rather how we respond to it and react to instinct installed in us to do it. Even though I already know as well as all others who acknowledge and take the time to that we were-

  • @gaymuraki created with this stuff in us by and from God in Yahshua(Jesus) Himself so we already know why we have these emotions in us and because we ALL, as CREATION, not just humans but all other creatures as well, have SOULS, if we didn't, we wouldn't even have LIFE, and our Life comes from Him. This is very interesting.

  • @gaymuraki

Well, of course we do. We need to understand how these phenomenon work. We need to learn their mechanics and what triggers them. That is how science works...

  • @Casna101 That's.... not what I meant. I never said that I was anti-science, I agree that we should learn about the body and mind as much as we can. I'm saying that it's sad that we have to get scientific and create certain days to act human, in other words, be compassionate. It's like science must tell us first that we are created to be kind before people actually can start to be kind :P

  • @gaymuraki I think you are missing the purpose of science... Science and the act of studying the world are not there to "tell you" how to be happy or how to be kind. Science is for explaining why things happen, a tool to help correct a multitude of problems and dilemmas in this uncertain world.

And as for humans being self centered, we are all self centered.Your only input and output of this reality are through you. For example, helping someone makes YOU feel good... It has always been this way

  • @papastiffy I understand how science works I just don't see how it is relevant in this case. Do we really need an explanation on what happens in the brain when we help people in order to be kind? Will this really make people take action? I can't help but to question the person that doesn't understand the basics of human empathy and compassion based on instincts alone.

  • @papastiffy Fair enough, I will quite bashing this video, it does have a purpose in a scientific way even if I find the approach of Humans-really-are-created-to-be-kind-how-about-that!?!? somewhat annoying.

And yes, true altruism doesn't really exist. But we should still try and be kind :)

  • @gaymuraki I always try to be kind! I'm not saying that the purpose of kindness or the act itself is defeated, yet as you said, true altruistic behaviour does not exist.

And I agree, the tone is a bit strange in the video, but learning about our reality (aka science) is not to blame.

  • @papastiffy sure, but I think what kinds of kindness and good are exhibited by humans and the magnitude to which they practice it is based more on psychology. There is by no means a definitive empirical defining on all kindness and good...when it comes to each individual it tends to be more qualitative than quantitative.

  • @papastiffy stop acting like carl sagon didnt teach you the word multitude.

  • @RobCardIV I have absolutely no idea what you are saying, I'm sorry... I don't mean to "play dumb" but did I miss something? And no, I don't believe Carl Sagon taught me the word multitude, I most likely read it in a book sometime in grammar school I guess.

  • @gaymuraki Granted, you have a valid point. One, however, that did not need to be mentioned.

It takes from the focus on the efforts of those trying to bring more kindness and compassion to the world, and gives to the focus on all that is wrong in the world.

The bad things in the world are easy to find; we don't need to be reminded to look at them.

  • @rchip90 As far as I know, I didn't mention anything about the bad things in life, only questioned the info in this vid and whether it actually serves a point in making us better people. Does knowing how your body works make you kinder?

I also question having a day for kindness. Should we not strive to be good people daily, not just once a year?

However it may be, my little comment seems to have attracted quite a bit of attention without my intention. I'm going to bed now. Good night :)

  • @gaymuraki Are you dumb? The science of emotions have been around for centuries. It's called "Psychology"

  • @xPvtStashx Congratulations at FAILING to understand my comment.

  • @gaymuraki "This is all well and good but I can't believe that Kindness and Compassion has become a Science" that is your first sentence.

  • @xPvtStashx Oh for love of...... You know what, I can't even expain it to you. If you don't know what I meant and took it literally then I can't help you.

Please refrain from calling me dumb when it is you who do not understand.
