What the hell You did with the control column?! It is structurally impossible! I removed and installed it many times in Classic, but the construction is the same in NG.

@DaveKovacs That isnt in the real NG i know and so do PMDG. This feature is included so poeple without the use of Trackir can see the PFD better without the control column in the way. Its basically a user friendly feature.

@CaptainSazzman I resized my VC textures so my FPS are pretty good now, to save a panel state go into the CDU select PMDG setup and it says save panel state there

i just want the american airlines livery so i went to the add on page to get the american airlines but when i opened it to download all i saw was 1 file so can you please tell me how to download the aa pmdg ngx.

its either i need to pay for the ngx to get the aa or i just dont know how to download it.

@Cessna159B I bought the 800/900 which is all PMDG had put on sale at the moment. The 600/700 BBJ and military variants come in a few months. The particular one shown in the video is the 800WL :)

Great video! Thanks for posting. Just to check, how detailed is the aircraft manual? I am relatively new to complex jets and fmc and wanted to know if its indepth and easy to understand for a beginner like me.

So there is quite alot of reading involved :P but the tutorial is only 94 pages long but i think il do a FULL tutorial flight video about an hour long and commentate over it in a few days :)

@MajorWales No. The aircraft tracks LNAV perfectly. What you see on the bottom left is the airport i took off from. If you look at 0:32 I increase the range of the nav display and you can see the arrival airport and the SID fixes about 100 miles in the direction im flying.

@volcom1722 Hey man! Sorry I didnt see your comment until i actually read through the section :| The FPS are actually very good for the amount of detail the aircraft is designed with. I would say i loose about 3 FPS with this over the LevelD 767 but i have to unchecked High res VC in the FSX options and manually resized the VS textures to 1024 x 1024 to give me optimal performace :D

@volcom1722 Never tried the iFly but this is quite epic, although i do suffer from the mouse lag issue where the FPS drop when the mouse cursor is present on the screen but from what ive read, this also occurred in the iFly 737! overall this aircraft is well worth the asking price! ive done atleast 5 full complete flights, gate to gate and its performed like a dream! everything is spot on PMDG really opened a new door with this thing!

@Nubweydudwey About 20, i suffer from the mouse lag issue that was also present in the ifly 737 and in the PMDG J41 apparently. When the mouse cursor dissapears i get around 28 FPS as indicated by the FRAPS counter so pretty reasonable
