@Mdude123456789 - Go ahead and check my page. Solo'd the game as a Red Mage / Wizard. As for my claim, exactly. White Mages can outheal anything and they can spam Blink til they are all untouchable as well as they can resurrect each other whenever it's needed.

@Zeithri but they have the least amount of damaging moves, so if confronted at a boss battle it will take a long time. and they run out of mp after a while, witch can be verry tiering at the final boss.

@Mdude123456789 - Against Undeads, they have Dia. And spamming Blink / Invis til you are untouchable means that it doesn't matter if you're out of MP if no one can touch you. Not to mention that in the final dungeon you'll find the sword Masamune which is wieldable by any class. It is simply put, not hard to use White Mages.

@Zeithri even blink wears off, and theres alot of enemies that are not undead. i guess the masamune is good, but still whitemages are the hardest to have, and they take alot longer.

@Mdude123456789 - *shakes shakes* In my experiance, Blink / Invis does not wear off at all. It remains on you for the duration of the fight. As I said, try using a solo Thief.

@Zeithri thiefs are good beacuse they have more agility and are really good attackers. instead of using money on magic, they can get loads of phonix down. although their downfall is their lack in defence and hp, they have way more attack than W.mages. lets just agree to disagree, whitemages stink at attacking and can only defend themselves, so when it comes to the final battle its gonna take forever. @Zeithri however, they can defend themselves for as long as they have mp, until they can beacome "untouchable" as you say. although dia defeats certain opponents in one hit, it is completely usless on the final boss. theifs are great at attacking but stink at defending. but beacuse they dont need to spend money on magic they can get items witch work also.

@Zeithri if items are cheating, then why did they alow it? and why is magic allowed? magic and items are bacicly the same thing with some differences, ie: you can use them up and they dont require mp with items. it aint called cheating, its called playing the game. if items are cheating then is getting the masamune and equiping it onto the whitemage cheating?

@Mdude123456789 - I said that -I- consider them cheating. Allowing a Thief to cast Temper or Blink on him/herself when they don't learn any spells at all. As for if they are cheating or not, I think it's up to each and everyone to decide it themselves. I just hate watching a solo challenge only to see that the person is using items to compensate for the lack of spellcasting really.

GBA port is fine, but NES all the way if you want to play FFI.

@DeviledEgginator why, the nes versions still have the original bugs in th game. the gba port is the exact same game with added dungeons, remastered music and graphics, and the typos are fixed.

@dstmt2 Why? Well, many people played the NES version first, and thus is the version they're adjusted to. The original bugs and typos are sort of what made the game what it was back in 1990, I'd rather have a great RPG that has some flaws, as opposed to going back and fixing the flaws. Besides, they dumbed down the difficulty. Play the Marsh Cave on the NES version, then play the GBA remake. Challenge makes the experience worth it. As for new dungeons, quality > quantity.

Hiryuu is the image on the front because it's more important than shinryu, they are an extinct spiecies of dragons, they are krile and lenna's favorite animal-ish things, and i suppose you could say that the ending theme is the same theme of the hiryuu's theme.
