i have an eccelctic ear for music, but when it comes to these Tenminmixes... i prefer it to be in the form of house music exclusively. Shiit makes me wanna gyrate my bum to the funky sounds that only such a genre could produce. Yee!!!

why have you *both* lows turned up past half way at some stages. one low should never go past half way let alone two. you are running your levels way to high, trim and master in red. you'll fuck up your equipment very fast.

Its only for when i record videos so i can get the highest output for the line in. I have a Creative Audiology Card, but its not good enough. I run them lower every other time. Thanks for the advice though.

Nice mix! Good tracks, even if somewhat mainstream. Not sure why you decided to replace the drums in the first track, it was OK, but didn't add much to the original. At 6:00 its a bit too bass heavy. I liked the transitions to Daft Punk. And stop standing with your hands down, you are not that good :)

Ye i saw your mix a short while ago. I mix mainstream n leave videos of them because i find more people can relate to it. The only object of the 1st mix was to get a more vivid bass line, and yes i used too much low range at 6:00. I stand with hands down because i have nothing to do, this is no fancy trick show its just raw mixing! haha

Good mix. It would've been better if you didn't put both of your hands down, once in while, like you've got nothing to do. Not a big deal though, mixing was tight.

I usually do, but the way i have it setup, i lose so much of the signal before it actually hits my speakers, and i lose even more when recording videos, so i need to keep the levels right up, otherwise people will complain about sound quality. Thanks for the pointer anyway :)

At the start i was trying to play with the pitch to get a different sound out of it. Take it needs a bit of work then.. lol Yeh i mainly mixed loops because i prefer to do long mixes, so i can always stay in the blend. My beat matchings ok, only tricky bit was to get the cuts spot on. But thanks nonetheless

LoL its a DJM400 for those of you that actually dont know. Thanks for the motivator hugoselekta, i do believe my equipment has better potential, but i've only been mixing 8months! Still lots to learn eh
