so people hate him out of jelousy and say others are better because they think it should be more even, as if all the gundam stories are connected somehow

Most people hate Kira because his personality becomes unbelievable as a human being towards the end of seed and right through seed destiny. He is one of the best pilots in the gundam meta series, probably ranking with amuro but no one is that much of good guy.

No trust me alot people hate Kira for his personality, me included. The man acts like a damn saint, and to many people he just comes off as unrealistic, and annoying, it has nothing to do with them thinking he's better. Also him taking the main character status ruined SEED Destiny, at least in my opinion.

Actually i didnt get all the way through either show, i found him to be THAT bad. Also i would have to disagree with you on both you're point on the storyline, and that Kira had more skill. I mean yeah he won some battles, but then again his MS had the firepower of a battleship, and all he did was beam spam so big suprise the grunts couldn't beat him, atleast pilots like Amuro fought enemies with superior Mobile Suits.

Actually Amuro is a really good shot, destroying a dozen Rick Doms with stats near that of his Gundam with a 16 shot beam rifle in an environment full on minovsky particles that interfere with the Gundams sensors.

Uso has to be one of the most bad ass main characters ever compared to other pussy pilots like Kira and hes overpowered strike. Hes Victory mark 1 was not much more powerful then a regular manufactured mech.

And even one well amid beam attack could kill him seriously.

So he had to develop a very tactical way of fighting instead of relying on the strength of hes Gundam.

The Zanscare Mobile Suits are the most insane of the entire UC series. Something they should do in either one of the SRWs or Gundam games is put Katejina in Devil Gundam for the last boss or something.

From what I've heard on this clip, that woman piloting the samurai-style Gundam is one of the bad guys, right? So, is she:

a. Fighting for the bad guys against her will

b. Being misled into fighting for them

c. Sharing their ideals

I've never seen the series where she appears, so I'm just curious about what kind of bad guy she is.

That "samurai-style gundam" is the musha gundam mark II. (If you dont know the musha gundam you gotta be kidding me) As for the pilot, I dont gotta clue. Maybe she was the pilot for the musha gundam from dynasty warriors gundam They never did show you the pilots face.

I knew about the Musha Gundam--after all, I have the original Dynasty Warriors Gundam--but I didn't know whether the mech Katejina was piloting was a Gundam from the same line or a completely different machine, so that's why I called it "the samurai-style Gundam".

And as for the original Musha Gundam, I don't think it had a pilot--after all, in level one of Heero's Original Mode, Master Asia referred to Musha Gundam as a "doll".  And, in my book, "doll" usually referrs to some kind of unmanned machine--which tells me that Musha Gundam did not have a pilot.

Yeah, but that's not where I first heard it--the first show where I heard an MS being called a "doll" was in Gundam Wing. And their "Mobile Dolls" were definitely unmanned units. The term could mean an MS which is set for "pilot optional".

At first she's just a civilian who hung out with the League Militaire but after Char clone Chronicle saves her from getting raped she joins them and then basically becomes a psycho who pretty much kills 1/2 the cast.

Not sure about Youtube clip, but I don't think the attempted rape was intentional, Chronicle just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Also Katejina met up with Uso's friend (Odelo) after she joins the Zanscare and said she was gonna be a mole for the League Militare but unfortunately she seemed to have changed her mind and started to attack Uso and friends without hesitation (pretty good pilot too, captured Uso on her first sortie)

You're probably right about Chronicle, but you never know with a man like him--the original Char had quite a few schemes within schemes, and I bet that a clone of his could be every bit as devious as the original.

I'm probably just going to have to watch the series myself in order to find out all the different plotlines and twists--any idea where I could find it? Again, subtitles would be preferred.

Chronicle is actually a Char clone in the most superficial sense- he wears a mask and pilots red mobile suits. He's actually rather pathetic and incompetent compared to the real Char.
