Man this movie rocked! Jim Henson was a genius too bad we lost him so soon. He couldn't make a bad movie. These guys were some of the best. And boy they were creepy! I mean that one took his eyes out, played dice with them and then freaking swallowed them. And I totally heard Elmo for a second there and that made it even creepier.

@SelflessEmpire - What the Fire Gang is suggesting is for Sarah to not pay attention to her "problems" and just have fun with them. Essentially, it represents the time in a teenager's life when they may be exposed to drugs, alcohol, sex...etc. It especially hints at sex when they are talking about "taking off their heads". Of course, Sarah feels uncomfortable and even frightened by this because of the adult-like themes and ideals - just like in the "Crystal Ball" scene.
