what do i have to do to get the sound from maschine to be directed to the 4th channel in the mixer? at the moment, it's coming just straight out from my second laptop speakers which has the maschine connected...

Im still trying to understand. in this set up is the maschine just being used as a controler to control the music being played in traktor? or is the music being played music that is homemade created by the maschine ? i have a maschine and i want to be able to find a program mabe traktor? so i can send my beats i make on maschine into traktor program to be able to be mixed with the music being played on traktor. can any one help me??

@CWaldo428 what i want to be able to do is have my maschine music played on a deck inside traktor so i can still use my maschine and all its functions to manipulate the beat but i want to be able to mix some music from my computer on traktor so i can record the mix all in real time. u understand my question please help

you can do all of this on one computer. Just plug the Audio 8 MIDI out into the Audio 8 MIDI in, and run maschine in the background. I do it all the time.

Dont have Midi Setup in Traktor Pro... have Midi Clock and no option to select a midi output..... Help?

Maschine needs to be integrated inside Traktor Pro, instead of the 4th deck you should have the option to have Maschine be used inside the host (Traktor). Not everyone can afford two macbook pros (come on?)

Seriously, I think they could've easily done that, but they didn't , because of rampant software piracy issues.

I guess you've miss read me. You'd have to still buy Maschine, but if you have it installed (bought maschine) you could then use it inside Traktor Scratch Pro. R.e. the two laptops I meant there's no reason why you should have two laptops

Ah, I did misread you. Because what I wrote was exactly what I was thinking as I wrote it :-)

Well, NI isn't benefiting (presumably) by forcing you to use two laptops (except, perhaps, foregoing threading their apps better), so perhaps it's really just a matter of horsepower?

I still think everything could've been done on software, but, hardware is so much harder to pirate and so much easier to make money off of.

you don't only need 2 macbooks - you also need 2 midi interfaces ...

I loved to have so much money to buy that ... (I'm too young anyway ^^ )
