I know this is a random comment on an older video, but holy hell yuta just melted my brain as I was watching this. I'm totally sober, sitting here, and I'm getting cross-eye from a low-quality video a random practice, and the guy melts my freakin brain. Just wanted to thank the uploader for this, you rock, so does Yuta. Wow.
hah yeah, he was just mucking around..... later that night he did one of his choreographed routines, set to 'earth intruders' by björk but i'll let him put footage of that up himself.....
Oh I know that was his practice. Its just like mine when I'll spin for hours and hours the only difference is.... well he's yuta so its a million times better lol. I love all of the 3d work he has been doing lately!
that's a nice one indeed. I was wondering why you didn't use it in any of your latest performances. but don't worry about it, I stole the move, named it "MAX MOVE" and sold it for 2.000.000 € to the poi community :P
God, I took a year off spinning and forgot Yuta would just keep getting better. I'm LOVING the addition of the horizontal plane to his vertical moves.
If it weren't him I'd say the video was being played in reverse at around 2:00, the man's control off his stalls & pauses is incredible!!
I get very noticeably better every year...The problem is do these guys. My word every time I feel like I'm getting closer to their level they add a new style or technique to make me weep a little inside...One of these days though I will make them proud to call my a brother. Until then hard work a lot of sweat and more fun then a man should be allowed to have. Keep it up, it will just my my victory all the sweeter MWAHAHAHAHA!
ahhhh i know _exactly_ what you mean...... i had only just started with double-staffs when i started living in tokyo and met all the fire kids there..... i was so honored to be able to spin with them (genki, shion and hiro especially!)..... but yeah, they're sooo far beyond, makes you wonder if you'll ever catch them!..... perseverance, my friend!...... : )
you should go to a poi workshop or try tutorials on youtube, but i would strongly recommend learning basics at home as that would your visit to workshop truly beneficial.
Yuta does have his own channel with tutorials and he does do workshops all over the world. But this isnt his channel. And i can't believe you dont know who yuta is. Also check out AlienJon, Ronan, Cryille, Nevisoul, G. Those are all "famous" spinners in the poi community. Peace!
ok for ur ego!..theyre all good and famous!..i am not arguing it with anyOne!...but still it doesnt matter if ur too good on the technical side...u still have to combine both spinning and the art of movement!...
