The song could have done without the la la outro, though you have to remember Brett's goal was to write a pop album. The lack of creativity within Suede at the time could explain it, but i still love the la la outro in "The Power", it seems to fit better.

Anderson's lyrics were redundant, they released 5 singles from the third album, but that doesn't mean they were great singles. I am Suede's main contributor on wikipedia, being a big fan aswell. I 've read most reviews and articles. Songs from Coming Up and Head Music severely lacked creativity. Don't get me wrong, some songs were great, others were just awful, especially from Head Music, i.e the title track, Savoir Faire, Elephant Man, Can't Get Enough. Saturday Night and Trash are great songs.
