Mal eine Frage: Ist Arcania eher an Gothic 3 angelgt. Also so eine Art WoW-Offline Version in der man Ruf-Punkte und anderen Mist sammeln muss? Oder eher mit einem Roten Faden + Nebenquests, wie aus Gothic 1 und 2?

Als ich mir den dritten Teil geholt hab war ich ziemlich enttäuscht... das hatte ja überhaupt nichts mehr mit Gothic zu tun gehabt. Risen war da wohl viel näher dran.

Jowood hat nur das Recht am Namen, die dürfen daher jeden Dreck "Gothic" nennen. (Soll nicht heißen, Arcania sei Dreck, aber da die Rechte am Namen nicht mehr beim Macher, sondern beim Publisher sind, steht der Name auch für nichts mehr)

Einzig die Arbeit von Piranha Bytes IST Gothic. Egal, wie sie heißt

Davon abgesehen das Arcania ein ziemlich schlechtes Verhältnis gegenüber Risen hat... Und das Gothic 4 ARcania nicht stimmt, da sie den Namen aufgrund einer Vereinbarung mit Piranha Bytes nicht mehr nutzen dürfen... Ist das Spiel immernoch scheisse, und nur von Piranha Bytes sind gute SPiele, klaro? Arcania ist 'ne abklatsche, das wird sich nciht halten, die Gothic Community wird Risen spielen, weil DAS von den wahren Gothic-Machern hergestellt wurde.

Risen und Arcania werden wohl beide geil. Für mich heißt das einfach, dass ich zwei Spiele, mit ähnlicher Spielform, aber unterschiedlichem Inhalt zocken kann. So gesehen also zweimal das gleiche Spiel mit unterschiedlichen Handlungen. Die Trennung der beiden Firmen ist für den Kunden (uns) also nur positiv :)

Stimmt,bei Gothic 3 war was schief gelaufen. Aber das ist vergangenheit und Gothic 3 wird/wurde mittlerweile ein würdiger nachfolger der gothic reihe.

Even if the graphics are one of the best, the story, UI, WoW-like combat and Radar ( "Map" ) are just bad.

I've never saw a game that the fan community hated so much, just go on ArcaniA's ( sorry, it can't be called gothic 4 ) official forum and as you can see there are tons of threads complaining about the story, interface, characters etc... Even if you can turn off most features that suck, it's still an stupid game with a retarded story.

Nie do końca się z wami zgadzam, to że nie będziemy grali bezim nie oznacza że gra straci swój klimat, ja trzymam kciuki że nie zawiedziemy się na G4

Gothic 1 to był hit i nikt kto w niego grał nie zapomni tej części, mimo że nie grzeszył piękną grafiką, ale miał swój klimat! Gothic 2 noc kruka także nie gorsza, grafika lepsza, niż w 1 ale fabuła i klimacik dają niesamowite wrażenia. Na urodziny dostałem gothic 3 ZB. Myślałem, że zwariuje. Piękna grafika, muzyka i wykonanie. A FABUŁA MASAKRAAAAAAA ta gra nie ma klimatu jak w poprzednich częściach. Nikomu nie polecam dalszych tytułów.
