They only appear in friend matches, and are activated by the taunt buttons. You can customise them on your online profile.

Dodgy maneuver in first match with the box. Characters such as Mario and Fox which use a ranged power are better for maneuvers like that. But still good tactic, if your percentage was any higher you would've been going with him.
