  • So wonderful. Thank you very much. Can you post a little bit about which record it came off? Or any notes about the incidental conversation snippets at the beginning?

  • mark knopfler(direstraight)did real copy chet as mentor,i can hear mark into the guitar of chet

  • Jerry was a creative genius. Not much more to say. He and Chet fit together like peanut butter and jelly.

  • @diabinhoUSA Sadly I didn't know how great a guitar player Jerry was till about the time of his death. And you are right diabinhoUSA, Chet and Jerry were even as good as grits and gravy!

  • One of the all time best!!

  • I don't know a lot of Jerry Reed because I'm spanish, but I would like to know more about him. I love him!

    R.I.P Jerry Reed

  • just take Paco de Lucia and translate it to country jajajaja

  • Haha Paco de Lucia...I prefer country xD

  • beautiful scenery, great music. i miss both these men alot. both were an inspiration in my life. they just dont get any better than these two friends!

  • I'm pleased to say that I have this album and its still in great condition. Thanks for posting this and doing a great job with the scenics...my only regret is I was never able to see and hear the masters in person but grateful we have them here...

  • what album would that be ?????

  • Chet Atkins & Friends....cover shows him sitting in a chair holding a guitar covered with dogs...Chet duets with Dolly, Ray Stevens, Jerry Reed...its a keeper

  • RIP Jerry, America's Django Reinhardt.

  • RIP JERRY, You truly were an inspiration to us all

  • I love it at 2.42 when Jerry hits a bum note. It's the only flaw in the whole single take. You can hear Jerry's strings buzz because he liked his action so low

  • Great job and I can see you put alot of hard work in it!

  • My parents had an 8-track titled "Chet Atkins & His Friends" with him and a guitar and a dozen or so dogs on the cover. This was one of the great tunes. I miss those days.... Even in the 70's (when I was a kid) growing up in a rural town... Life WAS full of wonder.

  • I'm 52. Great song, Beautiful landscapes. Takes me back to the childhood days growing up in rural NJ. When life was innocent and full of wonder. Thanks, I'll watch often.

  • I'm glad you liked it, thanks alot :)

  • @daddyben11 Yea what ever happened to those days?????

  • really nice
