i have to say i really like this airsoft rifle i use it all the time and it has seen plenty of action in backyard air soft wars (at eglin AFB or black water river FL) as a starter rifle it is a great starting point for someone who is just getting in to the game. and also for those of you who will hate on this comment just remember that is is the person behind the gun that determines its skill not the gun its self.

its pretty good but i would reccomend the cm049, its an mp5 style gun with 470fps with .2s (websites say 360-450 but ive seen chronos and its stronger then that) And 420fps with .25s. The cmo49 is all metal (except handguard, handle and the bottom of the stock) and is blowback. Its $180 so its pretty expensive but it has a range of over 230ft which is amazing for an AEG.

@dirtbikebro28 How long did you charge the battery for? If you charged it too little it will fire very slowly but if you charged it too much, there is a chance you fried the battery. It could be a magazine problem though. One you pour Bb's into the magazine put it in the gun. Then make sure you keep winding it until the scroll starts to give a lot of resistance. I hope this can help but at Dick's Sporting goods I know they give the option to purchase a warranty with guns so if you bought a

i have a question. if i use .12g 6mm bbs in this gun will it jam up the gun or what? on the hobbytron website it says it will and i should use .20g 6mm bbs but i dont understand how .12g is much different they are both the same size. And if i use .12g that will affect the fps but by how much will it affect the range?

@timytimy123 .12 grams tend to be a cheaper quality and obviously .12 are lighter than .2 grams. If you are using .2 grams your gun will NOT shoot as far. But the heavier the bb's the more accurate it tends to shoot.

@FatGoosePictures also the 12s have a seam in them which can scar up the inner barrel. generally u want to uses at least.2s for this gun since its pretty low level i would not sugggest geting anything higher than .20 grams if u do the gun has far less range but as said will be more accurate.
