This commerical came out in 2004 right around Thanksgiving. I remember seeing on television at that time quite often. Not only this but 2004 minus 35 years is 1969 when the franchise started.

I began working for Wendy's in 2004 and had a poster of this sandwhich hanging on my closet door for a few years. They also had a Wild Mountain Bacon Cheeseburger.

I remember a radio commercial for this to. In it a person chained himself to a building in protest for it being a limited time sandwhich.

I always prefer wendy's nuggets over mcdonalds. wendy's still pisses me off since they took off their crispy strips off the menu. why did they do it? it tasted really good! but still, I still go there often since its right up the street from where I live. around the KFC and mcdonalds and arby's and roy rogers. man do I have lots of fast food places near me.

haha i agree with you. We have a DQ, 2 Mcdonalds(both accross the street from eachother), Subway, KFC, Taco Bell, Jack In The Box, Thai Cafe, Cici;s Pizza, Bill Millers, Taco Cabana, Whataburger, Burker King, Wendys Dominos, Pizza Hut, and lots more lol
