You are right, a real birth certificate shows the hospital, the attending doctor and the time of birth. Obama's original would also have age coloring.
You also forgot to mention that even if his birth certificate is real, there is a problem with him going to school in Indonesia. To go to school in Indonesia, you have to become an Indonesian citizen, and Indonesia does not allow for dual citizenship, thus he would've had to give up his American citizenship. He would've had to become an American citizen again, making him a naturalized citizen therefore having no right to become President of the United States.

Johnny is wrong wrong, First Obama was born in Hawaii on Aug 4, 1961 anybody born in US soil is natural born parent's citizenship is irrelevant. Buchanan and Chester Arthur, both parents were Irish. Spiro Agnew's father was Greek NOT naturalized, he was registered as alien in 1920 Census.

If you say he was born in Hawaii, not Kenya, then he was born a dual British/USA and is British/USA from birth worldwide. Had he been born in and living in Kenya during the transition, then he would be Kenyan, since the transition only affected residents. But, as you say, he was in Hawaii, he was not in Kenya, but far from Kenya, during the transition; then his personal status remains British/USA worldwide. A dual national cannot be POTUS, 200 years after the adoption of the Constitution.

1. I'm talking about the difference between a piece of paper and a photograph of a piece of paper. A photograph of a bc obviously doesn't have the same kind of authenticity as one you could hold in your hand, and the unreality of photography has dogged the art form since its earliest days--digital images, which can be limitlessly manipulated, are the subject of even more intense scrutiny . . . 2. I don't have my original bc; neither did my wife. Are we not citizens if we had new ones made?

You also forgot to mention that even if his birth certificate is real, there is a problem with him going to school in Indonesia. To go to school in Indonesia, you have to become an Indonesian citizen, and Indonesia does not allow for dual citizenship, thus he would've had to give up his American citizenship. He would've had to become an American citizen again, making him a naturalized citizen therefore having no right to become President of the United States.

No one can argue that his father was a natural born citizen. So even if Obama was born in Hawaii. He still is not qualified to be POTUS. Article 2 Section 1. •Only native-born U.S. citizens (or those born abroad, but only to parents who were both citizens of the U.S.) may be president of the United States.

It's not as simple as that, at all. It's not up to him. It's illegal for the Hawaii Department of Health to release his birth certificate to those who don't have a tangible interest. The courts agree with this. His birth certificate is a confidential record that can't be made public for legal reasons.

To be eligible for that requirement you must be born on US Soil with US citizenship.
