Also, I don't really recognize the authority of the roman bishop, who instituted christ-mass, but I am not opposed to christmas, as long as the person who celebrates it honors the Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart and mind and soul, instead of honoring themselves. As long as it is all about Jesus, if the roman bishop transforms a pagan holiday into christ-mass, well, I think I can live with it. But the Bible nowhere says that Jesus was born the 25th of december, nor commands to celebrate...

This seems to be the reason why when Sissel was singing here, she skipped the middle of the song, where it calls Jesus "OUR EMMANUEL" (Emmanuel means GOD with us, according to the Bible (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23)), and where it calls him "Everlasting Lord".

This is a true statement, mormons don't think JESUS IS GOD.

Whatever trash your friend is filing your head with is just that, trash. 1st Article of Faith: "We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost." It's so beautiful! The best version so far, lovely. What a pity that the mormons cut the middle off the song... where it says "Everlasting Lord".... (quoting from Isaiah 9:6:"Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Mighty God"...), because the Mormons don't believe Jesus is the Everlasting God, but just a creature. Mormons believe Michael is G-d. But JESUS IS GOD. They, maybe, would realize, if they read Isaiah 9:6-7, Micah 5:2, etc.

If your views come from a polygamist, then she's obviously from a fundamentalist offshoot -- NOT the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS). There are multiple offshoots with a few dozen to a few hundred members, while the LDS church has 13M. I can't guess what the various offshoots believe, but it bears little resemblance to the LDS church.

I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, a member (with Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost) of the Godhead, and one with God in purpose.
