While this video is over 4 years old at this time, for the safety of any who may watch this, it is very important not to attract some wildlife to come so near one's home...such as bats...even though the original intent was to attract hummingbirds during the day. With bats drinking at night it would be safer to take the feeder in at dark then replace it at morning. In my county, bats are carriers of rabies. If a bat gets into the house, leave and call animal control. Get checked for bites.
Well if you're changing it that often then i'm sure it's fresh. I have the EXACT same feeder and i make my own nectar with sugar and water. It's as clear as water once the sugar dissolves.

It's not cloudy because it's old... it's cloudy because it's made of sugar. We rather make it ourselves than buying the commercial nectar.
Plus, there are so many hummingbirds, (and bats!), that we have to fill the feeder twice a day! Go figure..
