Hi Nadia, You have symptoms of mast cell activation disorders (rashes, anaphylaxis, etc.). You could get some quick relief from over the counter meds while you wait for an appt with a mast cell specialist. Your headaches may be from slightly high pressure on your brain. Hey, the doctors DO NOT WANT TO CURE, that want to TREAT, otherwise they'd be out of a job. There's a turn in the medical community in the past 80 years. Look at the medicine from that time period , look at what was IN the medicine. Look at when the major illnesses started to take hold of us.
@m0b1liz3 The stats is from a government study done by the Department of Health and Human Services...I have yet to meet a doctor that has EDS. I met a genetic counselor that said EDS runs in her family, but she hasn't been affected by it and doesn't experience any symptoms. Have you met a doctor with EDS?

I have had these same problems with neurologists at teaching hospitals. I have been to five of the greatest hospitals in the country and their answers were highly defensive because I knew about what I was talking about. They got their $495 an hour and I got 'there is nothing we can do". If they read the paperwork I had filled out before my appointment, they could have cancelled my appointment. There is no cure for me, and very little treatment for my symptoms. Good Job!!!

And it makes sense that he wouldnt address genetic conditons because then he might actually treat his patients properly and they would get cured and he'd lose a source of income.
