Well I'm British and both my parents are Jamaicans and as long as I been around I have been served by plenty dancers over the years included from Jamaica and whip the floor on them all. I get respects from the brothers too. So you don't have to be born in Jamaica to dance better than anyone. I recall a hot club I went to in London and literally took the stage dancing while some tourists from Jamaicans dancing below were cheering me on.
